apparently this show was filmed around 2010-2012 so im honestly very impressed to see someone asexual on television so little after the establishment of the asexual community (if you don't know, the asexual flag was only created in 2010 and the community itself was still pretty far from mainstream, with aven being pretty much the only website/forum geared towards asexuals at the time). as someone who is asexual myself, i am happy that tish found the label and was able to be true to herself and also maybe make some more people curious enough to look it up and maybe even identify with it themselves. i also know it indeed can be considered "heavy baggage" in the overly sexual world we live in and a lot of allosexuals think it is a deal-breaker... (also gonna say that all the comments, reactions, and honestly everything this show presented regarding both bisexuality and transexuality was absolutely disgusting and i hope society has at least made a change regarding all this blatant queerphobia in these 10 years that followed the premiere of this show)
