The dining room is 11x13 and right off the foyer with big opening. I would accent the opposing wall. Would it be weird to accent the perpendicular wall (no window, but does have entrance to kitchen) and not do the rest? Will it look like a goof?

Oh yes- we love using moss. We just filled a large bowl with moss as a centerpiece for a customer! It's a great modern look!

I would paint it black, and afterwards, distress it a little so the wood tone shines through. It will look great!!

It's hard to say without seeing the space, but I would start with one wall- the main wall opposite of the main entry. Hope this helps!
