The thing that killed me is OmegaDad got into Europe… then changed tactics! 😔 also Luke, you need to teach him how to pick up wonderkids to actually sell and make money for tougher rebuilds like this.
Tbf I don’t think he’s getting any wonder kids for minus 10m budget tho
@omegaluke what suprises me more on that 2nd season, newly promoted, qualified to europe with 3 AP on attack without suporte and surprised for you guys didn't mentioned is... Parma was the only team in the league that scored 3 figures in goals! 102 GOALS!!! The more I look the more bunkers I go, OmegaDad you crushed the game or you find a bug like the near post corner in FM23, for now on everyone is goig to play with AP in atack, well I am goig to do it 🤣🤣🤣
@@helderrodrigues8491 u tried it yet?
@@lewissmith4095definetily can pick up south american wonderkids for 500k or 800k compensation fees
initial toughts on the season 2 tactic- it's terible and then that happened so i was in a bit of a shock
Omegadad might have started a new meta tactic with the triple advanced playmakers 😂
Pretty good rebuild overall, initial thought on season 2- going to be a relegation scrap, after seeing the end of season 2- Did everyone else just forget how to defend. One way to help with the non-EU rule, which Omega Dad did without realising with Vasquez is looking at the 2nd nationalities. Pretty sure Vazquez has an Italian passport.
fun fact Vazquez played for Italy in Friendly games and after switched to Argentina in 2018
Boxing Day AND Omega Dad doing an Italian team? This is gonna be GOOD!
Too bad Luke has to watch United vs Villa tonight 😏
@@modernmind1847😂😂😂
Aside from having to scrub my eyes after seeing that second season tactic and the non-EU player issues 😂 absolutley fair play on this one dad! For someone who’s still a newbie to the game, albeit getting more experienced, to get through that with those budgets or lack thereof was incredible! In the meantime, call me a glutton for punishment, but I’m going to have a go at a sixth season challenge 😅 will keep you posted.
Thanks great DANNY , good luck 👍 👏
@@omegadad all in all that wasn’t too bad! Finished 7th. P38 D7 L12, 64 points. Couldn’t get you a cup, knocked out in round 2 😂. Managed to bring in £27m and spent £11.5m on a few freebies and some cheap but semi decent players.
Not bad however I have one question… How many Playmakers did you use
@@OmegaLukeGamingsurprisingly….none 😂 I don’t have the tactical prowess to make that work. Only a certain managerial genius can conjure up such voodoo 😂
Wow , how did you manage to sell £27m , I only left you with about 11 players 😂😂 but I've got to say we'll done tho Danny 👏 👏👍⚽️
27:14 a little fact about the nuamah transfer for 25 million to RWDM, the owner of RWDM is the same owner of Lyon and Lyon was very interested in Nuamah, but they couldn't buy him due to financial problems. The owner gave RWDM so much money to buy Nuamah and he immediately got loaned out to Lyon so he still went to them
Crazy thats allowed to happen, shows how broken the multi club ownership models are.
Great to see OmegaDad take on a challenge like this. He will have learned so much from the experience.
I can never get one advanced playmaker to work let alone three. That season proved to be tactical genius. If only he had stuck with the tactic. 😓
initial thoughts; when you said along the lines of 'hows adrian pulling this off in this league?!'... 3 attacking APS is the hidden truth lol
Oh also a story about Ernest Nuamah. Molenbeek is owned by the same people that own Lyon, so he was signed by Molenbeek using Lyon's money, then loaned to Lyon before joining permanently next season, but for some reason FM has him returning to RWM after the first season
Saw the tactic and thought "uh oh, we might be seeing Serie B footy next season", fair to say i was absolutely shocked. Fair play to Omega Dad
with what OmegaDad got for budget, it was impressive rebuild.
2. tactic: I thought he hadn't learned anything with the AP on att. after: maybe we haven't learned anything from him :D
Going to try 1 season, maybe 5. love the italien league.
Update:
1. Season: squad size 17 players. Let the players run out and sold 2 to bring in 6. Finished 13. Cup semi. Still minus budget
2. Season: squad size 17 players. Let 1 player run out. One acadamy promoted. Finished 15. Cup 3. Round. Still minus budget
3. Season: sold 3 players, 62 million. Bought 10 players, 21.5 million. Finished 6. Cup 2. Round. Still minus budget
4. Season: zero transfers. Finished 11. Cup semi. UEL semi. Still minus budget.
Lovin videos u put up quality content & how u even managed keep Parma up with all them obstacles especially that budget unreal massive respect to u that was a hard challenge, keep up good work with videos
14:02 initial thoughts I thought it would work since attacking is heavily favored by the engine. But I wasn’t expecting Europe I thought at most mid table
About the Nuamah deal of 25 million, it's because Olympique Lyon and RWDM are owned by the same owner,John Textor but Olympique Lyon were not allowed to make any transfers this summer because of FFP,but new owner at Olympique Lyon Textor wanted Nuamah so RWDM signed him and loaned him to Olympique Lyon straight away 😂😂😂😂😂(As a Belgian this is so hilarious because it's the biggest transfer fee Red from Belgian club for a player, and RWDM are newly promoted)
Initial thoughts on the season 2 tactic, oh dad what on earth are you doing. Afterthoughts dad you are a genius 😂😂
The non-EU rule is a rule I struggle too and I'm Italian. It seems easy, but it's not. Second season was just unbelievable!
Also realised that the Anderlecht first leg ended 8-4 😂
Wow insane the financial constraints at the club. Omega dad did a great job in the circumstances. Excellent rebuild
Fun Fact about the Ernst Nuameh Signing is that the signing was made from Lyon, but they had to do it through their cooperative club because of financial fair play rules. So usually they do not have those kind of money, but it was lyon who financed it - and I'm quiet sure irl he will join Lyon permanently in the summer! :D
Just came back from vacation. 4 videos to watch is just awesome 😁
Initial thoughts on the tactic was if you changed them for mezzellas you’d stand more of a chance but as dad said the season before Italy is a defend first tactically so maybe the attacking tactic might keep them up but did not see him finishing top 6
Awesome videos mates. I actually have the same feelings about goalkeepers in fm as omega dad. What would be nice to see is a test with same team same tactics but just try to play ten different goalkeepers. With one on one 20 (livakovic) and then change up to see how much its really differ. Positioning i think i super key aswell
I started my annual wolves save, using the new feature to start with the actual squad at the start of July. Had a transfer budget of -£60m
Hell of a second season! Never saw that coming with the formation or squad. Big credit Omega dad
Initial thoughts: Omega Dad the genius, After thoughts: trust the process.
Thanks for doing this. It saves me from going thru a world of hurt as I was considering doing Parma.....think I'll give it a miss😂
Funny story about Nuamah, the owner of Molenbeek also owns Lyon, because of financial fair play, the owner bought Nuamah through Molenbeek to immediatly loan him to Lyon. So he never played for Molenbeek, it's just some way to avoid financial troubles for Lyon.
To be fair, Numbah never played a game for Molenbeek since the loaned him out immediately after singing to a french team who has a transfer embargo on them. And we don't expect him to play a game for Molenbeek. They are just in the pocket of the same owner with the transfer embargo French team
I believe that Omega Dad should've kept that second season tactic for third season.
Great video, can't imagine the struggle with that Budget, but I think at this point you need to do a Franck Kessie check in Omega dad rebuilds, maybe after season 3 or sth 😂
I really want that 3 AP on attack tactic to do some testing with 😅 We need to dissect it, find out how it works!
Another awesome video lads! Kept me entertain whilst working on boxing day
Unbelievable that the 2nd season tactic did so well!
I think you should continue this and see how long you can survive in the job before they sack you!
What more could a boxing day need I'm predicting a omega dad success
maybe it has something to do with the no support roles. he could have 2 banks in the match engine,. all attack and defend roles is interesting as they might not roam from their positions as much or what they are required to do.
Initial thought: I wasn't questioning the all attack or defend. I run something similar in my long term save I have where I now consistently get Europe/fight for the Champions League in the Prem. I've always viewed the attack/support/defend as where you want the players to stand and how far you want them to push. The thing that got me worried was the fact there were three Advanced Playmakers. I wasn't sure how they'd play together.
After thoughts: I might have to try something like that. See what it looks like in the engine and how everything plays together.
Merry Christmas guys great videos, got my step dad into fm 24 🎉
It's kind of interesting, I saw a few 'meta' tactics making the rounds on the tactics sites that used multiple AP on Attack! There must be something in this year's match engine that really likes the space multiple APs are creating in the final third. Omega Dad is unintentionally making meta tactics now!
Initial thoughts: absolute crazy 😂 after thoughts: only a dad could make it work
Aye 3am from canada! thanks for another video. love the content
Thank you for getting up early my friend , always wanted to go to Canada 🇨🇦 👊⚽️
i'd like to see an A-League rebuild as there's loads of interesting rules regarding transfers makes it fairly difficult tbh
it would be great if you could a rebuild with vfb stuttgart. its a pretty big club in germany and they are 3rd in the league at the moment, the suprise of the bundesliga season with leverkusen at the moment
These rebuilds when you start in second division you should do 10-15 seasons, because that time you can start play with develop academy players or wonderkids and do some money. Great video again, merry christmas to everyone!
Forza Omegadad!
Initial Thoughts on the Tactic: A solid base formation for a weaker team to sneak out wins. Was questioning the 3 playmakers, but I am one of the rare people that actually like and have good success with AP's. I am surprised it did so well, but I find that Italy is one of the easier leagues to sneak a surprising league finish because there is so much parity.
initial thoughts were that it was pre good tbh having 3 players who are looking to pass the ball around and move up field all in a triangle kinda makes sense
Didn’t see anyone else comment about it so thought I would! Ernest Nuamah was signed by Lyon’s owner’s other club because Lyon couldn’t afford him for FFP reasons, and then loaned to Lyon - so purely dodgy accounting
That Nuamah transfer to Molenbeek is under investigation since theyre a partnered club to lyon and they 'signed' him for 25 mil and loaned him out to lyon straight away, despite only coming up from the belgian 2nd league this year
One of the best systems I had was with 3 playmakers, I had a roaming one always and two wide playmakers. I dominated possession, against everyone.
Omega Dad found the meta tactic. Just use 3 advanced playmakers and you get into top 6. It was a successful rebuild given the finances. Gutted the two Romanians haven't been used as much as both are really talented. Have to hand it though to Omega Dad. He learnt a lot in a short period of time. Maybe wait for deadline day to get some free loans in. But aside of that , congratulations.
Multiple playmakers actually tend to break the game a lot. I have friend who uses it a lot and overperform a lot. So I actually when saw 2nd season tactic just rolled my eyes and was like "for fuck sake it will work, won't it?"
OD tactical genius! Did not think you'd be anywhere near that second season 🤣
I won't be taking over the save file but a Parma save is definietly added to my list now. I love a good challenge
Even the board where so confused with that tactic that decided to not give him any money 😅
I'd like to see different kind of Race to Prem challenge. Journeyman challenge where you two start from likes of Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Estonia etc. So its like speed competition and maybe points. I love your content! The best in UA-cam.
Luke, you need to do this now! Well done Dad. Who knew he was a tactical genius
Thank you my friend 👊 ⚽️
I'm gonna have to stand by my mate Omega Dad because I like the AP too, but never played 3 of them! Great to have them playing so well, if the board had backed you, we would see a Scudetto by the end!!!!
I would have took them all the way to the C/L 🤔👍😂😂
intial thoughts - well here he goes back to the serie b , that was fast thoughts after simulation : WHAT THE ?
i think advanced playmakers are very underated this year started using them in my ajax rebuild first year made in ucl finals
Well done my friend 👊⚽️
Frank Kessie, Jude Bellingham, new keepers, squad players and random tactics. Keep it going OmegaDad
Loads more on the way my friend 👍⚽️
RWDM ‘signed’ nuamah in real life
Loaned him the same day to Lyon (partner club) who couldn’t pay him themselves….he is the record signing for a Belgian club!
I gave that meme nod when I saw the tactics “he’s going for it” I said 😂…. But I did not expect that… now I’ve gone back to my drawing board regarding mine
Never seen anything like that and finances ruined the sense of a rebuild as an idea for the video and a save. Well done in such harsh environment
Great job omegadad.
The story with Ernest Nuamah is that Lyon was longer interested in him. Lyon just didn't have the opportunity to spend that money because of the rules in France. therefore, the sister club bought him with the idea that he will sell to Lyon.
It was a big story i Denmark which many are outraged about. I guess it's just modern football.
That's really interesting 🤔 thank you my friend 👊 ⚽️
Amazing rebuild!! Btw do you use Player Instructions or no? Thanks! A Happy New Year!! 🎆
Initial thoughts: that's 100 goal conceding season
After thoughts: wtf
Initial thought for the tactic was shocked and the after thoughts was shocked😂
Mightve been said mate but the same company owns Lyon and Molenbeek and apparently the FFP rules are looser in Belgium or something so they sent him there then on loan to Lyon immediately.
Keep an eye on the scouting budget. If dad isn't using scouts then that budget can be brought back, thus decreasing expenditures. Might help. Awesome content!
That second season is so impressive.
Initial thoughts; yeah no chance UNTIL you showed the first 4 results and i felt a mid-table was inbound.
after thoughts; OmegaDadiola 🔥
also: 28:02 i met Aurier in a Paris train station on his way to make his PSG loan permanent in 2015
Knapp musta been shaking looking at tactical masterclass of dad 1st season up 🤣🤣
I've used more playmakers than that, it's not a surprise that tactic worked great, but a little for some of the players used
I just can't get over the "PARMAR" on the subs at the start of the video 🤣
My first thought on the tactic was oh no this will go badly, but after give him the Argyle Job, should never doubt the genius that is Omega Dad
Molenbeek is owned by the Lyon owner that is why they loaned Nuamah out immediatly. It was a trick to circumvent financial fair play.
I’m not gonna lie the 3 playmakers makes sense if 3 people ask for the ball the ball player has 3 options and the playmaker carrying the ball always has 2 options in the other playmakers as well as the wingers
Omega dad improves day by day! Such a challenging save. I would just discard the save at the first minus transfer lol.
😂😂😂😂 I almost did 😂😂
Nuamah joined the Belgium side who have the same owners that OL and i believe it was to avoid a transfer restriction
The thing is opponents get confused by the "bad" tactic just like us and then it happens...
Your getting to know me now 🤔😂😂
im only at the end of the 1st season as i type this but i have to say 12m in the red and 17 in debt isnt that bad, i spend a lot of time in the Serie A and Italy has a decent TV deal that mid table teams can live off comfortably EDIT: also, i know i said it the last time OmegaDad used multiple APs but imo in the current match engine multiple APs on attack is very good
Hi you should look up how Molenbek signed Nuameh. It has something being about them being owned by the same owner as Lyon where he went straight on loan (something about ffp)
😂 I was laughing my head off at his tactic and then choked on some food my mate had to help me 😂😂
😂😂 brilliant and sorry 😂😂, hope you're OK 👍⚽️
The story with Nuamah is Molenbeek and Olympique Lyon are property of John Textor(he also have Botafogo in Brazil) and Lyon had problems with the french FA(DNCG) so he gived Molenbeek the money to buy Nuamah and loan him to Lyon
The thing with Nuamah is that Lyon and RWDM have the same owner, and so that Lyon won’t fail FFP RWDM bought him and loaned him to Lyon. IRL he will probably be sold or loaned again to Lyon next season
Luke, what may have helped Parma get into Europe was Parma scoring 102 goals in the second season if you didn't notice that👀
That 2nd season, reason he had that many goals is 3 players were setting him up haha
Nuamah's transfer to RWDM is Lyon trying to trick FFP. The clubs have the same owners so instead of it being 24.5M from the Lyon budget they used RWDM. I heard that they are currently being investigated for it.
Initial thoughts on season 2: relegation with somr absolute hammerings by the big teams.
After season 2: OmegaDad is a genius.
That's more impressive than that cup run with Notts County tbh!
Luke you have to try this aswell, the tough jobs are always the best
Initial thoughts on S2: Classic OmegaDad.
After thoughts: Classic OmegaDad. On a side note, also, 100+ goals, whilst finishing 5th, in Italy. Madness!
Fantastic video, gents. Completely different twist, but to keep them up through the rebuild is amazing. Well done 🎉
😂😂 glad you enjoyed it my friend 👊 ⚽️
That tactic 👏👏👏👏👏 Might give it a go myself. Considering the money they gave you it was a great rebuild 👍
Omg this was crazy.
Luukkkeeeee cmon you have to do a 6th season 😂
Hope yas had a good Xmas fellas!
Inititial Thoughts: I am a fan of lots of attacking roles, so no support didn't bother me. I really like 1 AP, but I did think 3 was a bit crazy
After Thoughts: Not sure how it worked, but if it's not broke don't fix it. I really like IF's on attack on the wings with an AP in the middle, sometimes I use a SS depending on the player. I tend to go more SS when away and AP when at home as well
Initial thoughts: I ALWAYS BELIEVED IN YOU OMEGA DAD
😂 thank you my friend 👊 ⚽️
Just sat there laughing when I seen 3 advanced playmakers and was still laughing until I saw the end of season result jaw just dropped🤣🤣
😂😂😂 glad you enjoyed it 👊 ⚽️
My favourite fm21 save. Won the league in the first season bc of 4231 gegenpressing and Arezo the GOAT.
Omega dad had such a messy tatic that the teams he played against, they where like “what the hell is going on here” that’s how he manage to finish in 5th place 😅
Maybe do PEC-GO AHEAD EAGLES
Derby in the netherlands, last game PEC fans planted a Smokebomb in the away end.
Will be really nice and a fun rebuild
Should have stuck to that OP meta tactic with 3 APs. I demand that Luke take over the 6th season where he has to use it.
I would love to see @omegaluke do another 5 years 🔥
Fair play to omega dad. Really tough rebuild but he’s smashed it
Thank you my friend 👊
I enjoyed this rebuild. 1st season in the Serie A with Parma, 5th spot and european qualification. Reward? No money. lol
