OK, I can see where you are coming from. But all efforts can turn bad or good depending on how one uses it. Here, we have a documentary where we see depleted sea beds re-populated, fishing coming back to region who lost the supplies by over-fishing, plans to sustains the silver eel market (and preserve long term sustainability of fishermen) and so on ... and you blast it. Perhaps reserve the "acid" when conservation is ill-used?

I can't understand how tiny elvers can appear in a small stream on the east coast of Scotland all the way from the Sargasso sea.

The thing is, it don’t work any other way, without ending in collapse!

Life on planet earth is pretty complex to comprehend. Most human actions have pro's and cons. Often we get it wrong. Still, at least wanting to leave a world as healthy and diverse as we found it; at least truly appreciating the miracle and gift of life; at least not being cynical and defending rape of the planet is a great starting place. At least using one's energy and intelligence in an honest, heartfelt, considered way to better our world; this is good. Earth Rise isn't perfect, but not bad!

It is hard to understand your comment - do you have any evidence of people dying as outcome of these nature conservancy stories? And by the way, the eel story was about sustainable food; you had stories on how to restore wet lands and the glide bringing jobs back to dying environment. You looked at this with a far too negative attitude.
