The lower cloudbase was marking the convergence of the north wind with the airmas of the north Italy Milano plains area. Basically a type of small sea breeze front. Your videos are the best soaring videos on the net. If you could somehow get a compas rose on the screen it would help determine you flight direction and also where you are looking for thermals depending on time of day.
As a New Zealand Hang Gliding pilot recently living in the Alps. Man impressive. I'm slowly trying to break into this place. Nice to see what's possible. Amazing.
Thanks for the videos! Amazing. It interesting for one video and instructive if you explain how do take the decision if it is safe or not to fly on the lee side.
im new to your channel but i absolutely love it!!!!!!! Is there any chance you could upload a full video of one of your big trips but without speeding it up. I realize it will be hours long but i think people would love it! i love playing these when i go to sleep or read or just relaxing! thanks man and keep up the great work
Hmm, not sure if that would really be interesting. In principal I could upload the original 360 deg. Video so one could look in every direction. Comment if you would find that interesting!
you should keep producing this stuff. there is not much else out there and i think with the dramatical growing number of cross country paragliders this could maybe become a source of income. you could propably hit the 100k subscribers line.
Wow, that was impressive! Bet it can be pretty hairraising when you have to cross a big valley with no nice cumuls around. You must use a big powerbank (and card) to keep the camera rolling :-)
Sebastian, I’ve watched a few more of your hyper lapse videos and I’m super impressed. I want to make my own. What is your technique? Do you record the entire flight at normal speed, and then do the hyper lapse in post production? Or do you just rely on your camera’s hyper lapse? What camera and what settings do you use? Thanks!
@Tushar Pokle, here i answer most questions: ua-cam.com/video/0a_0t-0_G4I/v-deo.html In short i use a insta360 oneR and shoot with the standard settings and speed it up in the (now desktop) app. Have fun creating!
Hi Sebastian, love your videos! If you don’t mind me asking what is your camera / battery setup? I fly with a 360 cam but have nowhere near the battery power or storage space to film for as long as you do. Would appreciate a DM, cheers!
You make these huge jumps over valleys and often arrive on the lee side. it looks like you have nearly zero sink most of the time. How high do you estimate your glide ratio? It makes me really scratching the head...
Actually, I had a lot of sink (when heading to the lee side). Its a bit deceptive because everything goes so fast, but it felt loong when hearing the sink alarm for several minutes... I guess gliders like to Zeolite can deliver around 1:10 glide ratio in calm air.
Mass hysteria amongst travel enthusiasts caused by plane ticket prices getting out of control combined with environmental concerns surrounding greenhouse gas emision from jet fuel, a Legend named Sebastian Benz has turned towards a more sustainable way of air transportation by sitting on a chair, trusting a piece of fabric and knots while 2,000 feet in the air, feeling the closest you'll get to being a bird without worrying about paying rent. But seriously, how often do you sing to yourself I'm Like A Bird by Nelly Furtado whilst being up there?

These videos are great! I really like the commentary with the timelapse. Its informative and inspirational
wauw, incredible footage and great inside view of XC paragliding! thank you and congratulations

Soooo great again!! Love it, thanks Seb for delivering another perfect debriefing - and congrats to your flight of course! 🤘👍
Thanks Lex!
fliegerisch und vom Filmen her absolut herausragend! Danke für´s Teilen Deiner Flüge, sehr inspirierend!
Directly after the xalps torture... Something nice and beautiful.
Thank you very much for the sportive and pittoresk vids in Switzerland light!
Amazing flight, vídeo and your comments! So much to learn from it 🤟☝😉😉👏 Congratulations!!!
Thank you very much! always interesting and very cool voice over with every details that you provide!
Another cracking video. Keep them coming. The comment further down about adding a compass would be a super addition if it were possible!
Amazing…thanks for sharing this flight with us
awsome idea to film this in hyperlapse !
Great flight, and great video... thanks
I learn so much from your videos. Thanks for sharing!
That's quite a nice flight, and video, + nice scenery, despite the hyper-lapse. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! Or because of the hyperlapse? Its always difficult to transmit the feeling of paragliding in a video.
Always look forward to your videos, again great and informative stuff 👌
Of course I had enjoyed. You are the best ❤️
Immer wieder eine Freude!
Wahoo, it's amazing video for learning, and fly with you.
Thanks a lot Sebastian, it's great.
Thks
Wow that was amazing! Awesome flight and thank you for sharing!
AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!! I love this kind of videos, we learn a lot! ThAnKs!
Thanks for the videos! Amazing. It interesting for one video and instructive if you explain how do take the decision if it is safe or not to fly on the lee side.
amazing footage & a wealth of knowledge, thanx4sharing🙌
Would love to see your launches before switching to a hyperlapse replay. Liked and already subscribed.
Liked and subscribed! Amazing video can't wait to see more
Yayy, thanks!
Congrats! really inspiring
Absolutely enjoy your video!! would love to see some tutorials on meterology

Yess, please
I would also like slow version.Maybe 8x faster version, so i can check all the details and decisions.
a flight like this is 8-9 hours ;-)
Hmm, not sure if that would really be interesting. In principal I could upload the original 360 deg. Video so one could look in every direction. Comment if you would find that interesting!
@@sebastianbenz5336 trust me. A 6 hour video of your flight playing in real time while i study or read or even sleep would be killer!!
Great! Thanks a lot. Can't wait for another one!
Very good, thanks for the video 👍🎉
Mervelous ! Thanks a lot Sebastian
Master at this game
great job dude !! 👍👍👏
Great flight, great movie!
Beautiful 🤩 I learn so much from your videos.
Brilliant training video, thanks
wow what a flight
wonderful thanks for sharing
Nice flight 👍🏻
geiler flug und heftige aufnahmen

This is awesome

Danke für deine Einschätzung. Verwirrend ist für mich unterschiedliche Basen nebeneinander zu haben ohne klare Luftmassengrenze...
Crazy good...
veeeery cool, thanks!
Small clouds lower base maybe a small convergence between the meteo wind and mountain breeze?
Woooow! nothing else I can say
Loved it brother
Hammer Ufnahme! Danke fürs Teile :D

Yes, 512 gb and 25000 mah🙃
Spectacular
thx for another great vid
Amazing footage❤
Great!!
grosses kino 💪🏼🤩
Have you ever been able to not get lift and end up on top of one of these ridges?
If you can't get lift one can usually still fly down to the valley flore, which happened plenty of times to me...
As allways, muy contento :D.
Brutal

Amazing. Which wing are you flying?
I'm flying mostly the Ozone Zeolite GT
Hello Sebastian, could you please share how the footage and editing was done?
What a great video! How do you record such a long flight with your gopro? 1tb sd card? 😃
Hi Sebastian, love your videos! If you don’t mind me asking what is your camera / battery setup? I fly with a 360 cam but have nowhere near the battery power or storage space to film for as long as you do. Would appreciate a DM, cheers!
I use a 512 gb memory card, and an external battery pack: ua-cam.com/video/0a_0t-0_G4I/v-deo.html
cooles Video
Great video ! ... thanks for the share ! (speed of hyperlapse was 64 x ? ... or even greater ?)
Yes 64x
How the French toast do you edit this?!

@@sebastianbenz5336 what's your review and opinion for the zeolite as your main wing for xc ??
2:30 klingt wie Schwarzenegger 🙂
Thanks so much! Looks like your GoPro max is doing an amazing job stabalizing 360 footage! Are you shooting in timewrap?
He is using the Insta360 One R, see here: ua-cam.com/video/0a_0t-0_G4I/v-deo.html
Thats correct!
definitely better than my 360 one X ! ... but his skills are also far greater than mine ...
👍🏻🤩
Wow how long is a flight like this?
How did you manage to record the whole flight? Where you using an external battery?
add a map! otherwise crazzzzy!!!!!

Your videos of flights are the best.. dont go 360, too much distortion with 360 cams
Flying at cloudbase forbidden…
