Thank you so much for making such in depth videos sith this microscope!! I was trying to figure out what microscope to purchase and this really helped!
Love your videos. It is very inexpensive microscope, but it seems like it is OK for up to 400X. Also comes with a camera which will be very useful for us older folks with poor eyesight. I just bought one to try to look and learn to stain stain various types of blood cells (red, and various white cells, and cancer cells for an experiment). For this video, did you use oil with the oil immersion lense, or use it dry? If dry, that would explain the blurriness.
Pronounced it perfect! Thank you so much for making this!! i'm so excited to get my microscope i just now purchased it, and it's on its way wooo! As always great video, very informative and educational. So glad i found your channel I'm excited to see what's next! =^_^=
@@BlazedMindsInc ahhhh! thanks so much! i just got it saturday! ive already looked at my bloodcells, grass, goose feather which is totallly gross! Fingernail another gross one! my beard hair because well, im bald 😣 Some pollen sacs from local oak trees and apple trees, and i picked up some pond water yesterday at the park, im going to let set for a week to stagnate. Do you have any idea what to look at next? id really like to find some micro organisms, anything wiggly! 🤪
@@GamingWithZeap You can do a lot of different soil/compost analysis. Mix very gently for 20 sec 1 spoon of dirt + 5 spoons of water (rainwater or tap water left open for at least 24h to remove chlorine). Take one drop of it (just above the solid) and put it on a slide. Look for microscope soil analysis on YT to better understand what you are looking at. You can DIY a microtome with a razor blade to cut very thin vege, meet, plants. The thinnest you go, the better it will look under high magnification. Pick up plant with disease (brown spot, curled leaves, rotten branch), old/young/spores mushroom, insects, all the ingredients in your kitchen, dust (mix 1:1 with water), fabric, differents paper, money, beauty product, shampoo to name a few! Welcome to a new universe! Please share the joy and passion with your friend and family.

@@BlazedMindsIncCame here to ask the same thing. Novice here but imagine refractive properties of oil and air would be different and without oil it would look bad? I’ve seen lots of warnings about keeping oil off the other lenses and carefully cleaning it off when you’re done… so caution!
