Sorry to see that.. my insurance company said they won’t cover Anything on a track.. nothing. Even told me if it parked on a track for pictures and moped hits it, too bad. I hope your insurance is track friendly.
@@robharkey5693 well, I went through the turn with a little too much understeer. I missed my spot by like 11” and that’s when my wheel caught the grass. I think it may have been fatigue. It’s actually safe, to be honest. You’ll notice none of us are doing anything crazy. You can’t just pass wherever you want. There are all sorts of rules to keep us safe. I made this mistake with nobody near me and if there was someone in front or behind I would have been very easy on the throttle. Trust me, we are all aware of what’s going on, out there.
Sorry about the damage, but at least you are ok. It’s difficult to be certain, but it looks like you came off the brakes too early, a little more trail braking was needed to keep the weight on the nose at the speed you were going. Once you were in trouble, you would have been better off giving up on the corner and accepting all four wheels on the grass
