To know Copeland would take the time to play a level, then make the music, his thoughts for Buzz's Dungeon literally had to be "fighting in hell against a demonic toad." I see no other way to interpret such a setting and fight.
I think both designs are great and intimidating but I think reignited Buzz looks a bit better. I mean it stil got the essence of the original like the dozens of sharp teeths and his grin. My only complains is that Reignited Buzz's animation seems less energetic, like, when he jumps or rolls after Spyro. I also miss the big sharp spikes when he rolls. That made him pretty badass..
True. It's nowhere near as bad as Spike though... Oh god! He looks absolutely fucking badass on the original but in Reignited he looks like a muscley version of Shrek! And Scorch went from nightmare fuel, insane, creepy looking monster into.... A bat.. 🤷🏻♂️
“No worries, though. This wussy green toad will be no match for the two of us!” Whether the year was 2000 or 2018, you knew this was gonna be fun as soon as you heard that.
I love how you gave it a second before bringing in the Reignited audio. I think it came out very nicely. The original audio starts up, and you’re like “Okay, tense”. Then the Reignited drums come in and you’re like “Oh damn!”
Yeah I found the bells to be way quieter in Reignited's version which I feel removes a bit of the charm from the Original. I do like the added faster drum part that Reignited added at 1:43
I tried the track remake, yet it's not as bad as I thought. I've been listening for half a day and I can't determine which is better. In the remake, interesting "menacing" notes were added to the track. But it's worth paying tribute to the bass players: they're great on both tracks. The only drawback of the original is that it lacks the "clear" of the sound, it sounds like from the radio and does not have a stereo effect. Combining these two tracks is a very cool idea.
@@ItsLummy I think you should try again. Just change the key and tempo to match Buzz with a pitch shifter. (If this helps any, Buzz is in F minor and Gulp is in B minor. So just move Gulp up by 6 semitones. Hope this helps! Good luck!!)
I loved how you mixed the two together. That's was tight.
The original theme was scarier then the reignited the tension was waaayy less to me
Probably because new buzz looks like a fucking doofus lol RATHER than tbe terrifying unidentifiable blob on the left
The old version was epic. The new version arguably more so. Put them together, you get pure magic.

Poiligon buzz looks more intimidating, frankly.
Yeah I can see what you mean, Reignited buzz while still looking pretty good, looks a bit more cute.

@@cookiesontoast9981 Yeah, Spyro 3 in Reignited probably has the most questionable design changes out of the three remakes, which sort of sucks.
@@ItsLummyyes in the original he died burning a howling in excruciating agony as his insides filled with lava. In the new version he just goes splat.

I am here because of said comment and I'm not gonna lie, this turned out better then I thought it would, good job :)
Thank you :D

I think I originally had both playing at the same time at the start but I'm glad I made the call to have it do a bit of a lead in instead. :)
Awesome job with Remix
I love the old one but I do admit the new one looks great
He looks like a dope in the new one lol
I missed the bells from the original when listening to the reignited version. This fixes everything!

And even The Adventures of Hanazuki and Flain: Safari Quest, It's about the Battle against Hopper in this game.
I play this everytime i fight buzz now.
Wat?
In the original game I used to think Buzz had a big bogie on his head.

This is dope
We need a fan made reignited trilogy honestly
Why didn't the developers or composers think of this?
I love the original song so much it kinda hurts my heart😔
They almost sound identical, yet years apart.
Dayum I love it 😃
That should be a great battlefield music.
Buzz and Gulp
A Mash of the Buzz and Gulp themes? That could be interesting to try out, I might give it a go and see if it sounds any good. :)
@@ItsLummy Well how does it sounds for Buzz and Gulp's theme going?
@@benhughes3394 I give it a shot but I couldn't seem to get it to fit well with each other to be honest.
@@ItsLummy Maybe you could try again.
