On-jo's friend took several minutes to go through transforming into a zombie and only actually started turning because of the fear induce when they realized she was bit. Which means the virus can generally take a bit to infect and turn anyone. Which indeed did happen with the first science lab girl(before the scientist injected her with serum to slow down) and with the scientist's son as well. So Cheong-san not being afraid at all could simply have dramatically slowed the transition stage. I say this because he was not super strong when he fought Gwi-nam. His hits didn't do much and he had to use weapons, dirt, etc to catch him up. Gwi-nam was still throwing him around like he had an advantage. And we know hambe's equally have a strength charge. Since Prez was able to man handle Gwi-nam at different times despite being a smaller woman vs him. So Hambe Cheong-san would not be so easily tossed around by Gwi-nam. If its possible that Hambes can regenerate so fast and are borderline immortal, which Gwi-nam shows many cases of.. It's definitely possible that not only did Gwi-nam survive, but so did Cheong-san. I also think Gwi-nam and Cheong-san made up over the incident. A wild guess, but the way Prez talked about it. Because ultimately Cheong-san did not grab Gwi-nam to use as a shield. He grabbed him to save him from the blast. His empathy for Gwi-nam shows when he exposes Gwi-nam's true emotions about everything and causes him to tear up talking about how Gwi-nam is truly just a weak, scared little person. And he may understand that monsters can often be made of those in Gwi-nam's position. We don't know his childhood background but we know he seemed like he himself was bullied by his group leader(and possibly others) prior to the position he gained later in the group. So I'm in belief that we'll see Cheong-san and Gwi-nam kind of having become bros together.

And the 'they' reference has me thinking Gwi-nam has to be with Cheong-san too. Since the two of them were together during explosion and survived(hopefully). And since I believe Cheong-san and Gwi-nam made up due to how Cheong-san tried to save Gwi-nam, I know that their dynamic would be one where they stick together and Cheong-san kind of levels Gwi-nam out from his hot headed approach. Especially since they'd be equal and realistically I think Cheong-san could handle Gwi-nam when they're both Hambes. So we will see a more submitted Gwi-nam who may still have most of his demeanor from before but a lot less angry and hostile. I'd like to think Nam-ra and Cheong-san kind of gave him a purpose being in their group together once Nam-ra found Cheong-san and Gwi-nam. And so he'd be more of a neutral/good-guy Hambe. But based on how the director approaches the show, and on what your video described, and what I personally think happened as well.. this would make the most sense. As Hambes will become a faction in this world and you'll have 'hambe sympathizer' humans alongside them vs 'bad hambes' that want to end the human race and human military that won't sympathize with hambes good or bad type deal in the next season.

And since they jumped in the pit last, their bodies would've been on top. And also, since zombies don't eat other zombies, maybe hambies don't eat other hambies. So if they both survived, Gwi-nam hopefully wouldn't be able to eat Cheong-san

The colour yellow is a symbol of hope throughout the show. In one of the shots of the bodies at the bottom of the elevator shaft, you can see a wet floor sign! The wet floor sign is yellow but is covered in dust. I'll have to go back and see what episode it was but you can see it just on the outside of the bodies. There is even one camera angle that focuses on the sign as it pans over the bodies!
Also when On-jo goes back after the fire there is yellow rape still attached to stuff around the site - this tape is only plastic so it should have burnt up or completely melted... so I think that is another clue for hope that Cheong-san alive even though we don'r see him at all!
If Cheong-San were to turn into a zombie then he would have already be a zombie, during the fight scene and the chasing scene i doubt that both of those were only a few minutes long as it only takes a few minutes for him to turn into a zombie as we saw previously they would have their necks crack due to the virus killing them and reactivating their stem braincell. I think what's important is that the final fight scene is already about 2 minutes long and taking into consideration how much time he spent talking and running from the zombies I think it's safe to say that he's alive

All of these are true, except for one thing, hambies are invincible, meaning they can't die. But that doesn't mean they can't be burnt or turn into ashes
He was fighting gwinam on equal ground at the end compared to how he was overpowered maybe 10 minutes ago. If he was not a hambie, it would only make sense that he got his ass kicked again being already hurt and more tired if not killed instead of having a good fight.

Part of me is telling me that he might not be a halfbie because Namra, Eunji, and Gwinam never had a nosebleed but Cheongsan did. HOWEVER, I rewatched Episode 4 and recapped that Lee Byeongchan got bit and had a nosebleed BUT walked normally, not like a zombie. If Byeongchan is a halfbie than I'm not doubting Cheongsan's possible halfbie status. I commented before watching lol

I think when the humans turn fully into a zombie the heart stops to beat and the virus takes control on the mind causing the cardiac system disrupted and it starts bleeding from nose. We can also see Hamby also has swollen artery because their cells work harder and faster making them strong and causing the internal pressure up ... we also know that the biological reaction causes 10% increase in blood pressure....

They chased him because he was screaming and yelling - Zombies are drawn to sound. When the class mates were leaving the class room and they have lured most of the zombies away by playing music through the speakers there is still one zombie in to hallway walking face first into a wall - they come out of the class room and creep past him and he only notices they are there when one of them drops a metal flask on the floor and it clangs - The zombie could not smell them even though they were right behind it. While they made no sound they did not get the attention of the zombie - it was only when the flask hit the floor that the zombie turned to them.
Being a Hambie depends on if you soccumb to the fear the virus projects. Gwi Nam and Eunji (still pissed they didn't get a showdown) were not scared of dying when they were being bitten or eaten, they expressed more hatred. Min Ra (Best Girl, fight me) on the other hand almost turned fully as she was experiencing fear when her humanity was being questioned by the group. Luckily, Bear-Su was there to comfort her and took away her fear.

Based on Byeong-chan's vlogs, the main function of the virus is to trigger "fight or flight" instinct when a person senses fear. However, it seems that what only triggers was the "fight" mode, and the virus it self is inflicting fear to its host (Gyeongsu's POV) which in turn creates more of the fight hormone, thus making them too agressive. So... What if you didn't soccumb to the fear? You get all the benefit of of the virus, what the virus was meant to do, without the zombiefied state. If you think about, that could be the reason why our Best Girl Nam Ra mentioned about a group of people that are the same as her. The odds of people overcoming the virus is quite high.

All of these are true, except for one thing, hambies are invincible, meaning they can't die. But that doesn't mean they can't be burnt or turn into ashes
He was fighting gwinam on equal ground at the end compared to how he was overpowered maybe 10 minutes ago. If he was not a hambie, it would only make sense that he got his ass kicked again being already hurt and more tired if not killed instead of having a good fight.

Part of me is telling me that he might not be a halfbie because Namra, Eunji, and Gwinam never had a nosebleed but Cheongsan did. HOWEVER, I rewatched Episode 4 and recapped that Lee Byeongchan got bit and had a nosebleed BUT walked normally, not like a zombie. If Byeongchan is a halfbie than I'm not doubting Cheongsan's possible halfbie status. I commented before watching lol

I think when the humans turn fully into a zombie the heart stops to beat and the virus takes control on the mind causing the cardiac system disrupted and it starts bleeding from nose. We can also see Hamby also has swollen artery because their cells work harder and faster making them strong and causing the internal pressure up ... we also know that the biological reaction causes 10% increase in blood pressure....

But he was yelling and the zombies follow sounds. Like when gwi-nam was talking and the zombie were running at him. Cheongsan was yelling to get them to chase him
They chased him because he was screaming and yelling - Zombies are drawn to sound.
When the class mates were leaving the class room and they have lured most of the zombies away by playing music through the speakers there is still one zombie in to hallway walking face first into a wall - they come out of the class room and creep past him and he only notices they are there when one of them drops a metal flask on the floor and it clangs - The zombie could not smell them even though they were right behind it. While they made no sound they did not get the attention of the zombie - it was only when the flask hit the floor that the zombie turned to them.

Being a Hambie depends on if you soccumb to the fear the virus projects.
Gwi Nam and Eunji (still pissed they didn't get a showdown) were not scared of dying when they were being bitten or eaten, they expressed more hatred.
Min Ra (Best Girl, fight me) on the other hand almost turned fully as she was experiencing fear when her humanity was being questioned by the group. Luckily, Bear-Su was there to comfort her and took away her fear.

Based on Byeong-chan's vlogs, the main function of the virus is to trigger "fight or flight" instinct when a person senses fear. However, it seems that what only triggers was the "fight" mode, and the virus it self is inflicting fear to its host (Gyeongsu's POV) which in turn creates more of the fight hormone, thus making them too agressive.
So... What if you didn't soccumb to the fear? You get all the benefit of of the virus, what the virus was meant to do, without the zombiefied state.
If you think about, that could be the reason why our Best Girl Nam Ra mentioned about a group of people that are the same as her. The odds of people overcoming the virus is quite high.
Side note I totally agree with you Eunji and GwiNam was SUCH A MISSED OPPORTUNITY
