Before covid my oldest daughter who turned 15 yesterday made these for her Adopt a grandparent program she did her name made 60 and we put like a little chocolate and each one as well the grandparents all loved it she wanted to make sure everybody had a tea and a card❤
Being a fan of Victorian era ephemera, I've saved my lovely old calendars and cut them to size (the 6"×6" tea sleeve size). I will now try the 7" size as I agree that the sleeve feels a little bit tight. I think the Victorian paper with pretty ladies in beautiful dresses fit the theme of an afternoon tea. 🫖
I love love your tea idea. I liked the holly better than the bow. I made some and used a small red envelope, I laminated the envelope and added same thing you did, except peppermint. I made a pin button with a message on it and attached near the point of the envelope. I also added white shredded paper in the envelope! I was inspired by your idea! Thank you!❤️😊👍
Im just north of Ocala, Florida. We got some rain and winds. Lots of downed limbs and branches but thankfully, no damage. The coastal areas usually get hit the worst; just as the west coast did with Ian. Pray for them. 🙏 This is so adorable!!! What a clever craft to sell or give away as gifts! Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed this tutorial. I think the toppers finished it off perfectly! 💗😊
Loooooove the bowes!!!!! For craft fairs or your own gifts it seems more of a 'present', the holly leafs are very very attractive too!!! Great idea for a small gift and good price for craft fairs for those that just want some stocking stuffers or teacher gift, etc. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Deanna , I just found your channel. I love this video. This is a great idea. I'm always in need of small gifts for the Ladies at church. This will be perfect for them. Thank you for sharing. I'm Teresa and I live in Tenn. Can't wait to see more of your videos. Have a Blessed Week. 🤗
What a great idea and beautiful packaging. I am going to make these for a nursing home residents yhat I send cards for any holiday, even sometimes just because, and I do gifts for many occasions that I can surprise them with. I'll use hot choc with a candy cane, piece of choc maybe miniature marshmallows or anything else I can think of. Thank you so much love all your videos!
Love this idea will be making them great video I like holly so cute great little gift thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas and inspiration 😊 Theola
I decided not to fold the top triangle down, but just left the print showing. I also used a dab of hot glue on the one corner to hold mine together and a dot of hot glue to hold the top two pieces together....worked out great. Thanks for sharing!!
I enjoyed watching your version of Tea Pockets. Love the presentation. I prefer the Holly Leaf. I see these every year at craft fairs. They are a great seller. Thanks for the tutorial.
These are darling, as is everything you create! I think the holly leaves were the good choice because the green leaves better coordinated with the green scalloped circle on the front to make it look more cohesive.
Thank you for the idea to hide the white. I didn't like it either. I just figured out we can save the staple by tucking the white in that first top flat.
I have watched just about all of your videos. Absolutely love them. I love the idea of 7 x 7 size better than 6 x 6. I did try the latter and you were right, it bulges. Thank you for the awesome idea. The holly looked better than the bow on the package.
Super cute and I love that they are not winter themed, being a Aussie it's nice to see Xmas stuff that's not snowmen and snow as we are blistering hot at Xmas time lololol love them
Hi, Amazon also sells Honey Twigs, They are shorter versions of the honey stick and they fit a little better in these favors. Thanks for all your great ideas!
I really like what you did with this diaper fold. I agree that the fold over that covers the pattern isn’t very appealing which is why I never did them. But this is a great tip! TFS ❤️
Really enjoyed your tea bags. I will be making them to give out to friends and family. I like the Holly leaf. And I also like the tiny little candy canes I've never seen them so little before they're adorable. One thing I do drink a lot of his hot chocolate. Do you bake hot chocolate pouches as well? Will definitely be making these , I'm sure they'll bring a smile to people's faces. Thank you so much for sharing!
Love these! Going to show these to my grandson for his teachers with a coffee cup, such a great idea. I like the holly but the bows would be really nice to.
Hi Deanna, this will be my 3rd year attending a craft fair. The past 2 years I’ve use Love Lyrics Crafts way of making my Tea and Honey packets and yes they are one of my #1 seller. Although after watching your video on folding the flap in I do like the effect it gives the packets. It’s a much cleaner look and most of all less stressful trying to line up the folds. Thank you again and I’m looking forward to watching more videos. Marlene
My first time here. A perfect gift for the teachers!
