Modirith does allow you to install curseforge mods, but you need to install curseforge mods onto your pc as files and then put them into your modpack, and I find no problem with that at all.
Its probably legal since everything spies on you, you should be more worried about youtube and similar social media as they know way more about you than a random pirated client
The legacy launcher is a good open source cracked launcher and has easy instances, mod loaders downloads and account switching, i would recommend it if you don't have a Minecraft account
Laby does try their best to support mods and u can set up different ways of running the game forge limited to 1.8.9. or fabric for all the new versions.
Default launcher isn't that bad. You can really easily add seperate instances, it's not that difficult to mod (easier than clients such as lunar and badlion) and it can support fully custom client jars such as optifine. You can also install modpacks with a bit of effort and since it can launch other minecraft games I think you've drastically underrated it. It also supports both bundled and custom java installations and JVM options as well as quickplay. Definitely doesn't deserve F tier.
@@Austinfdp What do you mean? Each instance you make under the default launcher can have seperate worlds, resource packs, java installations and mods just like any other launcher.
You can’t separate instances MODDED wise and you have to swap mods out instead of having all mod folders in there; so it really does belong in F as a LAUNCHER. It’s not bad, but it’s the worst when it comes to custom launchers. Mind you, I use Modrinth but that’s because I play modded and I play multiple different versions; so I don’t have to constantly swap out my mod folders just to be able to play what I like. When it comes to convenience and speed mod wise, the default launchers just isn’t it. But it wasn’t made for that so it’s understandable. But you do actively have to SWAP out physically your mod folders because the game crashes otherwise. The “instances” aren’t as separate as they like to make it look. So yeah if you play 10 different modpacks regularly using a custom launcher is smarter and saves time.
@@RowanWolf22 You can seperate instances, you just don't know how to. I play different versions with different mods from the default launcher and I don't need to constantly swap my mods folder. I just click my instance and done. When creating an instance, you just need to give it a different directory. It's that simple. You're complaining about the default launcher not having a feature that it does have. Admittedly it isn't as obvious, but you're not using any third party software which is a bonus.
