@@markwick7898 That's not true, Eddie was prioritising going to Cambodia over his health, that was his decision, the majority of comments were saying go for the scan. Eddies is responsible for his decisions, he had stopped drinking then started again , I didn't see any of his subs dragging him to a bar. I had the impression he was worried about potential costs and wanted to avoid claiming on his insurance.
Eddie, your recovery IS happening in front of our very eyes. It's quite remarkable. What's also remarkable is the ability of the human body to heal/recover/adapt. You're very much on the mend Eddie and I wish you all the best

This is my concern about living abroad when old, particularly if I go alone. Had no real issues with my health for 67 years, fit and well, then suddenly got diagnosed with cancer. My western country gave excellent care including chemo and scans - for free. That is priceless when you get old.

@@revol148 For minor health and cosmetic procedures yes, but for ongoing major health defects involving weeks or months on hospital the cost in Thailand would just be too great. All revolves around money.

I'd say cognitively your about 90% back to normal mate. Am impressed with your recovery after 2 major surgeries, Your remembering conversations you had with doctors 2 months ago 👍. Obviously the paralysis in your limbs is still there but hopefully that will go soon .. Just keep doing what your doing. ❤

Great to see you getting better day by day. I had a bad fall in China whilst teaching there. Had scan and it showed bleeding on brain. Had two weeks in hospital in the hope it would get better. However, next scan showed it was much worse, so I had yo have a brain operation. Took time but it appeared to work. It was 24/7 in bed for almost 2 weeks until I could be assisted to bathroom so know how long the days are. I had my mobile but signal was crap. I stayed in hospital a month. Now if I can do it in Country where most couldn't speak English, except a few specialists. When I was a bit stable on feet I could use tv in hospital room (100% in Chinese but killed time). If I made that you will be out and about in a short time. Best of luck pal.

I started following you when you made the Heathrow Airport video in your cold weather clothes heading to Thailand. And I've watched your adventure for months. You'll get better. You have to believe it within yourself. Get out of that hospital. You have fans mate. Nothing but all my prayers for your recovery.
