How beautiful a husband and wife working together in their calling as Christians in a team for the good of their community, how wonderful. Lord, farming may not be for me because it is hard work, and I am single, but Lord God is all the good me taken by all the good women. Lord, because I come from a family of farmers and most of whom I really do not know well, if you want me to be a smelly time gardner or back yard gardner than allow me to be able to marry a good Christian person and be with it in my lifetime before I die who knows how to farm and allows me to have something to bring to the table because talking is cheap, and life is short, and back yard gardeing is hard work.
Lord, My family the Stanford's of Eufaula, AL have been farming for almost hundred years with out me before I was born and most of the family sold out Lord if you want me to live like this you are going to give me wisdom, knowledge and know how safely. I admire my family of Eufaula, AL for being able to preserve the family culture. Lord I wish this could be my calling but I did not grow up with the relatives of my grandfathers Will Stanford's knowledge of farming but spent my time growing up in the city of the subbed of New Jersey with in my parents back yard garden. If this is not for me than what is without the means for country living bless me to use my means to learn how to live like this if it is true that country living is the healthism living on plant Earth. In memory of those families of farmer who have experienced suicide in their homes because of the stress connected to farming, living of the grid and the country live style because American media claims that farmers have the highest suicide level in the United States. Lord if I never learn to live like this in my life time God bless my family relations who still have the courage to farm living in the country safely and do it well. God bless the Stanford families who have been living in Barbour County for almost 100 years as farmers, with courage, honor, and purpose.
