Thanks a lot for the quick mention about using the micro displacement for your Subsurface Shader! It makes quite the big difference for me to enhance the visibility of the pores through that instead of increasing the height of the displacement which makes the skin look unhealthy (like the skin of an orange)
Thanks for commenting Flynn. I had never heard of this technique until now. Question: How does one attach a micro displacement to the subsurface in Arnold?
Love your videos. Could you do a video about "hair"? I guess it is one of those subjects that come up now and then and that varies from renderer to renderer.
I know is totally unrelated, it is just curiosity of mine... Are you by any chance from Brasil? On another note, I am loving the video so far, it is helping me so much while I work on the most boing 3D job ever
Excelente como sempre!!! Daqui a pouquinho esse canal vai ser um dos maiores do UA-cam, com certeza!!!! Querendo ajuda com legenda em Português ou outro idioma, só falar!!!
It's always nice to have one more solution to the same problem, different approaches are good for different situations. Thanks for sharing it!

Great video! Thank you! :)
When you say clamping, is that the correct term or are you meaning ‘clipping’?
Yeah! I realized that after I was done. My broken English gets the worst out of me sometimes :)

As a Redshift user, would this be the same as using micro-normal maps? Also I'm learning Clarisse to get past the poly limits of other software.
Bem legal, não sabia dessa manha no PS
fantástico, vou agregar às minhas esculturas
Eu gostei
cant believe someone actually disliked this video
