The conversations between Diego and Garcia are quite possibly the most awesome thing about this show (Yes, even more awesome than the swordfights, the villains, Bernardo, the songs, and whatever more I've forgotten that is awesome).
OOOFF! Tornado tripped and threw Zorro HARD! And horses are heavy - that must've hurt Zorro AND Tornado! They're lucky neither of them broke a leg - or a neck!
You know, I really don't think Diego knew how much the people of L.A. loved his "Zorro" identity until this episode - he keeps advising people to go home and save their own skins - he doesn't want to see them get hurt - and look at the answers he gets: "Sorry, patron, but Zorro is our only protection against people like the Commandante and the Magistrado! He is the only thing standing between us and the whipping post!" That kind of trust must be simultaneously gratifying and terrifying!
Did you notice when Garcia emphasized the "innocent" person? He didn't like Ortega, either. I would bet he dropped him through that gallows on purpose!

It is hilarious that Zorro and Captain Garcia are friends :D

Diego said he could read what Garcia was thinking by his face. Must be a very light read.
During that spot, I think he also has the look of another fine actor from the same period: Clark Gable.
Garcia to Corporal: Corporal......
Corporal to Garcia: dont look at me like that
It would be wrong to sell someone else's horse. Damn that Ortega.

In all these years, I never knew "Zorro" was Spanish for "Fox".
