@@identitybiker thanks for watching Smithy, appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. The new unit is a cracker chargers her up in no time 😎✌🏻
No way - I'd be dark if a tender charger stopped working. Good advice to know they don't last forever, I'd never thought about that possibility. Enjoyed the vid.
I feel for you… although only 2 years old our charger collapsed… only after using it twice… I took it back.. only to be told no warranty after 2 years… was "very" upset… has an old one like you… a lot of years old … going like a trooper.. let alone getting to a Harley battery 🔋.. glad you are up and going…
A familiar thing from living in the Blue Mountains. And now living rural central NSW, it's not so surprisingly colder in the high valley. One of the steeds on the stable is showing signs of a battery which is being a sook in the cold garage. What a sook! I have an Aldi charger that's been pretty awesome. But in the workshop we have the Noco chargers and I have to say, they are pretty amazing little units. I reckon every bike should have a tender cable attached to the battery.
@@HarleyThrottleJuice yeah mate it’s was freezing that day and plenty of moisture about. You could nearly say I was moist. But I won’t cause some don’t like that term 😱🤭🤭🤭
Nice work there Bert. I have had a smaller C-tek battery chager. I normally put it on a bike the night before to ensure the battery is fully charged. The new Harley one looks the goods though (and looks like it can do lithium batteries too).
I just also discarded a HD Battery Tender, finally died, I’m estimating around 12 years old, however on the upside, I attach a battery tender to all my bikes 24/7, just got 7 years out if my Night Rod Battery 👍
That should keep her on the road now mate and did you know you could have got an adapter plug from the c-tek to the new one you have thats what i use mate
Always good to get new kit to keep the bike tip top and ready to ride. Loved the ’out with the old’ charger scene.
Cheers Smithy

Mate that was hilarious watching the tantrum and the sound effects.😂🤣
I loved it.👍
Thanks 🙏 glad you enjoyed my very average attempt at comedy 😂🤣
@@BigBert that wasn’t average… I thought it was well done. 👌
The flying charger into the wheelie bin with you out of screen was gold.🤣
@@RideTheByroads thanks mate, appreciate your comments
Great job getting to the root of the problem. That HD charger is supposed to be a good one and I hope it serves you well.
@@KrakensGarageandAdventures thanks Eric, I hope so 🤞
