I got Maverick and looked for an informational channel and yours popped up first. I was lucky. I was just thinking I need to add a couple more plants to the enclosure, and Maverick loves to munch on the plants! Maverick is small, but growing fast and doing well. I want to keep it that way. Thanks.
When I got my now 1yr old it had been about a decade since I had to build an enclosure. I started taking him to the garden store when he was still a baby and all the workers now have progression of when he was a small brown inch long baby all the way up to his multicolor gloriousness. Now I've got babies again, so I'm alternating between the babies and the 1 year old. The workers now have a picture board specifically to chart the growth process, and have a section dedicated to chameleon friendly plants. I think he's unintentionally become the garden stores mascot. The fact that I have no problem sharing when other shoppers are wtf is that? Probably goes a long way to being liked.
Thank you! I usually use my dripper for 1-2 hours twice a week. And I make sure the water drips onto a plant that will help catch the water so it doesn't get everywhere.
@NeptunetheChameleon is an English ivey safe for a chameleon it has mixed options on it being toxic? My little guy is coming tommorow through fromschams but wanted to double check with you any info would be great. Just confused is all
Okay, so I have a veiled chameleon about 8 months old and, his enclosure we got for free because my mom had a friend that just got rid of theirs. Would my chameleon be able to sense that there was a chameleon previously in that same enclosure?
They won’t be able to sense there was another chameleon in there BUT there could be harmful things like parasites still leftover in the enclosure that would be transferred to your chameleon. I would super scrub and sanitize the enclosure before using it.
Lots of veileds have safely eaten ZZ plants. Most of the plants lists out there for chameleons are actually cat/dog lists such as the one from FL chams.
You inspired my veiled chameleons enclosure!!! Also would love too see a video of you setting them up and the chameleons enjoying them
Aww I love hearing that 🌱
Great video 👍 love that you take the time to show what you would use !!
Thanks for watching!
Please make a video of installing them in the enclosures!
You’ve got it! I made one last year too: ua-cam.com/video/tG8iVn8tT9w/v-deo.html
Great information on picking out plants for Cham enclosures! Thanks for this!
Thank you!

One of the benefits of keeping chameleons is that just about any plant will grow in an enclosure
Yessss!
LOVE your videos! How often do you keep your water dripping for the chameleons? How do you keep water from pooling or going all over the place?
Thank you! I usually use my dripper for 1-2 hours twice a week. And I make sure the water drips onto a plant that will help catch the water so it doesn't get everywhere.

Do you know of a led plant light that is cost efficient?
You can find the products I use here: a.co/bcQIQiO Otherwise I'd look at the Chameleon Forums for other ideas.
where did you buy your enclosures? i want to upgrade for a bigger cage for my chameleon
Mine are from Dragon Strand. This video will help: ua-cam.com/video/wgU5rJkEhSI/v-deo.html

@@NeptunetheChameleon thanks I will make sure to do that!
Hey so I recently gotten a chameleon like 3 hours ago and she had one eye closed but the other open is this a sign of stress or something?
I’d suggest you watch this video: ua-cam.com/video/2IESxfzFnmc/v-deo.html I also have one about closed eyes.
Are the ZZ plants safe? I was looking into them and found a few websites saying they were toxic if ingested?
Lots of veileds have safely eaten ZZ plants. Most of the plants lists out there for chameleons are actually cat/dog lists such as the one from FL chams.
