If you don't want super tight curls, try doing two locs together. I use to do 1 loc and the curls were tighter, but when I do two, the curls are looser (but still tight and neat).

As I see so many of my sisters, I envy the many ways they can diversify their hair and I want to join in the fashion hair festa!

Hi, have you ever slept in these? Trying to get an idea of whether or not they're as uncomfortable as the pipe cleaners. .or would they be roughly the same minus the sharp edges sticking.
If I have shorter locs (the ones in the back reaches my neck, the ones towards the top reaches my ears) Should I get the medium length instead and cut those in half? Im wondering if I get the long and cut it in half like you did my locs wont fit the whole thing. Thanks in advance!
hello Joy. Love your videos. I think it was because your hair was so wet. I did braids on soaking wet locs once. It was AWFUL ;-)). Just as you described.

Great tutorial. I have owned a pack of these for some years, but could never get it to come out right. I do not think the owner understands that she may sell a lot more if she actually showed people how this works. Can't profit off of everything. JMO
I have had these for years as well. She actually had a DVD with a how to demonstration. I purchased that along with the tools. It's very easy to do and the curls come out perfect. Will have to try this in a couple of weeks, I just did a roller set on my sisterlocks. I love the look of curly locks.

absolutely. Perm rods, cheaper and gives great curls.
Your curls come out gorgeous trying figure out if it's the size and how uniform your locs are or because I use pipe cleaners.
My Locs are not that uniform. Just looks that way from a distance.

Thank you! There was no sharp edge. It works fine on my thickest locs the spiral is just a little looser.

The long ones should work for yout length hair.

They will last longer than other curls but not as long as they would if you weren't sweating. Water is the demise of any curl.
