I just lost my beloved Beagle, Jack, three weeks ago. To anyone who doesn't want a pet, let me tell you losing one can really devastate your life. I would give anything to have him back, healthy.

I think that's why a lot of people say they don't want a pet. It's so painful when they leave us.
I feel bad for anyone who has never been loved by furry friend. They have missed out on so much love and joy.
I am so sorry, I understand how you feel and it’s the worst. I have so many holes in my heart from losing every single one, and those holes never heal, they just sit there. The grief you feel is real and don’t ever let anyone tell you otherwise, it is devastating to lose your best buddy in life, even worse than losing a family member in some cases. Please get another when you are able to, so many need saving. All of mine are and have been rescues, and while I know that it is hard to get another pet as you feel disloyal, they would want you to be happy and help another darling soul. My love to you from Australia ❤️

So true. Cats know no boundaries….but their own.
My cats know no boundaries in love. When I'm ill in bed, they all come to the bedroom. When I'm up they all come to the living room. There's one purring besides me for at least half an hour now and one of my cats woke me up not for food, but to just love on me.
Cats are kisses from heaven :)

Animals also cure. My grampa never left his chair. For 5 years he would sit in his chair. Only went to the bathroom and go to bed. My aunt Dot brought home a golden Lab. IT took awhile for pap to get used to it. But I came buy to visit and he is out on the front porch playing with the dog. This is amazing.

Same here... in 2000, my son's girlfriend dropped a kitten off at our house. They broke up a year later, but the cat was still here. It was an indoor outdoor cat... I bought cat food, but otherwise the cat was mostly invisible to me. 10 years later my son moved out, but the cat was still here. But otherwise I had the entire house for myself. In 2018 the cat developed hemangiosarcoma, a type of cancer and I brought him to the vet, then to A+M animal hospital and $20K later he was sort-of ok again, and we became best friends. Then in 2019 my son died and the cat (now 19 years old) was not only my best friend, but my only friend. Then in 2021 the cat (his name was Halo) died of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, at the age of 22. I told the doctors at A+M, I do not care what it cost, this cat must live... but on Jan 10 2021 I had to bring him to the vet for the last time. He did suffer 4 heart attacks in 4 days and I resuscitated him every time. I knew I would only prolong his suffering and did what I had to do.
His pictures are all over the house and I adopted two new cats shortly after, who try hard to walk in his paws ever since.
People: I don’t want and/or like animals.

My dad got mad when the female dog in his house got pregnant and said that he wanted to have the puppies adopted away. Some months later after she gave birth and the puppies got old enough my stepmother began talking about finding them a new home and my father got mad again and said "What are you talking about?!" Now all the doggies live with them lol
I laughed so hard with that picture and what your dad said cause that’s exactly what my husband said and those cats were all over him. They just would not leave him alone. He slept with them and everything that is so funny.😮
