16:16 I also interpret that the titan Eren targeted Mikasa due to this resentment of being treated like a helpless younger brother. It seems that the repressed feeling emerged from his subconscious when he transformed into a titan. Especially because he didn't act to kill like the other titans do (eating).

Fun Fact: After Eren finishes his initial conversation with Pyxis, he appears to have been given a new boot and shirt as his outfit shows no sign of damage, but his sleeve is shown as ripped again once the operation begins 🤔🤔🤔

Please take note that these soldiers are trainees and from Garrison (wall soldiers). They are not used to titans unlike the Survey Corps (those who fight titans outside the walls).
