- In this Saltwaters Hawaii episode, I went fishing using a Kastmaster lure. I noticed some Moana chasing the lure so I decided to modify it :)

Yes ppl do put swivels on the rig so it spins in the water so it’s like a flicker or glimmer when ur reeling it in

That’s funny😂 where I’m from I always use kastmasters and catch trout and bass and pike, never thought it would work in the ocean gonna have to try tho 👍
bro thanks for sharing , I use kastmaster for surf fishing , here they are good for striped bass and surf perch too in the Monterey Bay area , here in Cali...... just slow reel in with a little jerk on the line .....
use a swivel clip.....
In hawaii you work it fast - pappio like fast lures.

Are kastmasters actually that good? Thats weird they're usually a freshwater lure
I haven’t caught anything directly on it yet but i see many people catching papios on them

They are really good with the right technique and conditions. Sometimes the castmaster catches fish when nothing else can. Then other days you lose them first cast or nothing will bite at all.. the worst. lol just the way it goes lol
I caught a 5 pound trevally using a kastmaster
You can catch anything with that rig
Had a cast master just like that and last week something hit the line by my swivel and i lost the lure.
