Back in the day I used to work at Marineland, helping look after Luck and Splash the two dolphins and sometimes swimming with Clovis the awesome killer whale. Things have changed a little since then I see, although most of the tricks are still the same. Okay, so the animals might have been in captivity but they were much loved by the staff and extremely well looked after and I expect it's still the same today. Great place, brilliant memories.

Release these poor dolphins and all Marine Species to the Wild! It does not make sense to keep them in captivity. Making a show with dolphins even less is cruel and inhuman! dolphins, orcas, and all pilot whales roam hundreds of miles a day surrounded by their family by locating through echolocation sonar. When they are in a small chlorinated pool, the noise reverberates ad infinitum on the walls and it makes them crazy. Moreover, it is because of the captivity​ and this infamous market that the slaughter of dolphins of TAIJI Japan which takes place 6 months per year from September 1 to end of March is perpetuated every year.
