I guess im asking randomly but does someone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account? I stupidly forgot the account password. I love any assistance you can offer me
@Boston Marley thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Truly, a masterpiece 👌🏼👌🏼 Love your awesome artworks since 2017. Thank you for sharing this amazing tutorial with us. Stay healthy and stay safe ma'am.😊😊
Thank you for this. I always find all my various brands of white pencils to be quite soft and sometimes I over work the area losing tooth. I work light to dark in coloured pencil, and make the mistake of doing so with white areas in pastel and lose the ability to create depth and have great highlights. This is really helpful. I currently feel dread when I get white animals in or animals with lots of white.
Leo, thank you so much. I am very scary to draw with pastel pencils. It is not easy for me to start.⚓🌶🎨🌈🌈But watching you, it is so amazing and admire you. Maybe I try it , , , thanks you
This is cool! I plan to draw our dog , still on WIP 'cos I'm having a hard time for my base layer of the fur. I think, this will help.. Somehow the color of the cat is similar with our dog. Thanks for this! God bless
Hi! This looks so soft & realistic. I have a general question. I’ve never used pastel before and I’m wondering if you find pastels much easier to use than colored pencils. It seems to blend much easier, the medium seems to be much quicker to finish than colored pencils. Or is it that you use Pastelmat. I understand you can use colored pencil on pastelmat but won’t it eat up your pencils that much sooner? In watching you use both mediums I get the impression that pastels are easier to learn and use. Are my assumptions correct? Thank you in advanced for your response. Mostly, thank you for sharing your art and how you accomplish such wonder works of art. 🙂
Thank you Melinda! Hmm that's a tough question. I must say that I did find pastels a bit easier to get used to , but only when I started working on Pastelmat. Before I worked on different pastel papers and I really couldn't get the detail on there that I was looking for. Pastelmat makes all the difference. Colored pencils require a very different learning curve that's maybe a bit less intuitive. Also it takes so much more time, so it's also a matter of building up patience. I find colored pencil more difficult to use on regular white paper, just because of how much focus and time it costs. On pastelmat, colored pencils work more similarly to pastels. Yes, your pencils will get eaten haha! It is a bit easier to create tiny details with colored pencils though:)
So for the bottom layers do you need to go very light for the highlights on top to show or can you just go all out? I just bought pastelmat/pastel pencils and don’t want to waste anything! Help would be appreciated.
In uw beschrijving van deze tekening staan bij de uitleg dat je met faber castell polychromos werkt, maar zoals ik zie, zie ik carbothello van Stabilo. Of ben ik fout? En op welk papier werkt u?
I have been using pastelmat and stabilo pastel pencils, but for some reason I can’t get those tiny details. My pastels don’t seem to go on as smooth as yours do. My first layer of pastels is not solid and I find myself having to put a lot down just to get a good base layer and by that time I’ve almost completely filled the tooth with pastels. Am I doing something wrong?
In order to save on the pencils is it not beter to lay down base colours with soft pastels/ pan pastels. then blend then the come in with the pencils for final layers? One is forever sharpening them and they are not cheap!
That's personal preference! I work quite small, so for me pan pastels and sticks are just not precise enough. If you work large I would definitely recommend using pan pastels or soft pastels first:)
Hi, I'm new to this 'art' business and have been watching videos and practicing with coloured pencil drawings. This is the first time I've watched a pastel pencil video and it is amazing. Question: Why would anyone choose to carry on with coloured pencils when you can get this effect with the pastels but in a tenth of the time?
Oooh good question! I like the variation. With colored pencil you get a very different effect. Usually with colored pencil it's a bit easier to get any tiny details in. I also really like combining colored pencil with pastels to get the best of both worlds. But I agree, sometimes pastels feel a lot more effective. But I need the variation between the 2 to keep them both fun for myself:)
This is cool! I plan to draw our dog , still on WIP 'cos I'm having a hard time for my base layer of the fur. I think, this will help.. Somehow the color of the cat is similar with our dog. Thanks for this! God bless

If you could mention the color rather than the number of the pencil; My pencils have different numbers than those you mention. Great video!
