The Nürburgring, Germany leg of Rock am Ring on June 7 kicked off with Die Ärzte, Avenged Sevenfold, and Queens of the Stone Age leading the opening night.
The stellar lineup included Beartooth, Dropkick Murphys, Kreator, Crosses, Asinhell, Enter Shikari, Fit for A King, Guano Apes, Mudvayne, Neck Deep, Pennywise, Royal Blood, Skindred, Wargasm, Betontod, Cemetery Sun, James and the Cold Gun, Querbeat, Scene Queen, and Sondaschule.
On Saturday, June 8, Rock am Ring boasted Green Day, Broilers, and Billy Talent as headliners. Babymetal, Bad Omens, Electric Callboy, 311, Against the Current, Antilopen Gang, Dogstar, Donots, Jazmin Bean, Kvelertak, L.S. Dunes, Pendulum, Pinkshift, Royal Republic, Schimmerling, Team Schiesse, The Interrupters, The Last Internationale, The Scratch, Trettmann, and Underoath also graced the stage.
Rock am Ring’s Sunday lineup showcased Maneskin, Parkway Drive, and Kraftklub as the top-billed acts. Supporting this impressive trio were Corey Taylor, Machine Head, Atreyu, Biohazard, Blackout Problems, Body Count, Counterparts, Fear Factory, Hanabie, Hatebreed, Heriot, Landmvrks, Leoniden, Madsen, Malevolence, Of Mice & Men, Polyphia, Thy Art Is Murder, Wanda, and While She Sleeps.

Thanks for doing this one. These festivals collabs the two group did were so delightful. The onstage fun and joy are just so infectious. Summer as usual is winding down to quickly-for me at least. So thanks for bringing me back a taste of it with this reaction.
Yeah you’re right, the crowd was huge! Rock am Ring usually holds 80000 people. I’ve been there with RTL+ which streamed the festival and I’ve seen the concert. They weren’t the official headliner, but secretly they were…the concert was so packed and the people were going nuts. You can watch the interviews we did with Kevin and Nico and the girls from Babymetal on the RTL+ channel. But my personal highlight was meeting tankthetech 😊
This song and collaboration looks like the most fun EVER!!!
And the guys have just announced that they will be back at the goodthingsfestival this year.

Yesssss please...over 100.000 ppl and it was one of the best open air concerts from EC so far -the sound, the lights .. perfect😊

You probably haven't seen the professional videos from Resurrection Fest Festival in Spain or Pol'nd Rock Festival in Poland. In comparison, the Germans are sleeping.
So cool of you to say that about Nico...Only bc they do funny songs doesn't mean that they are less good/talented than other serious metal bands...and unfortunately they suffer a bit of it
