Wave 3 revealed quite a bit about Hyness; He literally saved the mage sisters from death and lovingly took them in and taught them their elemental magic, with Francisca literally saying in the monologue before fighting the three of them that he's not the Hyness they once knew. Something clearly drove Hyness off the deep end (likely him messing too much with matters most dark) and the Mage Sisters stuck along just because how much they felt indebted to him. I'm glad that heroes in another dimension is canon as Kirby was able to purify him in the good ending, allowing the four to be true friends again.
It's hinted that Hyness and the sisterws were the ones who imprisoned Morpho Knight, only to be shunned and actually bethe victims of attempted genocide, because of their powers/. Exiled to the dark planet Jamba, he fell deeper and deeper into madness...

I love just how dramatic and sudden the jump in intensity is. Hyness thinks he can just wipe you away like a small stain, and within ten seconds gets proven incredibly wrong. Then the pace of both the music and battle more than doubles as you just removed what was essentially the last leash keeping Hyness from going berserk. Absolutely lovely.

Hyness has to be my favorite Kirby villain (at this current moment.) His design is what mostly sets him apart for me. Crazy hypnotic eyes, nasally voice, HUGE Squidward nose, and a kickass theme. His motives are of a broken man, holding a grudge against his own bretheren that banished him due to his obsession with Dark Matter. Corrupted with said obsession with Dark Matter, he uses ones that he loved and cared for (The Mage Sisters) as tools to unleash the powers held captive within the Jamba Heart in an attempt to not only seek the benefits of what he followed Dark Matter for in the first place, but to also fill in the hole his ancient bretheren left in his heart, to prove them wrong in a sense. Hyness is so deadset on releasing Void Termina from the Jamba Heart, not only does he sacrifice the Mage Sisters, but also himself. Also, unlike most Kirby villains, we get to see physical proof of Hyness changing his ways and being freed from the corruption of Dark Matter (the small Friend Heart landing on him at the end of Heroes in Another Dimension). Hyness definitely got it easier than Haltmann and Queen Sectonia, that's for sure. Maybe Hyness being a previous member of the Ancients can provide Kirby and friends with extensive knowledge in order to lead them to the Ancients. We can also see if Magalor is telling the truth or not when he himself claims to be an Ancient as well (Considering his track record with telling the truth, that may not be the case). So yeah, Hyness is cool and has a big schnoz. :)

Whoa. Really? I only played this game for several hours, and my friend and I both had stuff we needed to do, so we kind of challenged ourselves to finish the game in that small amount of time, so we couldn't really read the pause screen text most of the time.
It has been almost six years since I first fought Hyness and heard this theme; man did he leave quite an impression! Not since Zant have I seen such a disturbed and bats*** insane villain lose his marbles as sporadically and violently as this guy, all in one fight! Truly, one of my most memorable gaming experiences!

Kirby music, both old and new, always hit different than any other type of music. Kirby music can be cheery and candyland, but they can also be these epic, INTENSE songs that sound like a battle between gods or something like that. The musicians and composers who create these songs are at the highest level of musical prowess to be making music like this, so powerful and emotional with only audio. I swear, you can listen to any soundtrack from the main line Kirby games and you’ll find something that can be considered one of the best songs ever.

After being unhooded...Hyness sees you a huge threat to his plans and uses his full power. Using the souls of the three generals that have fallen, he obtains a share of the powers of fire, ice, and electric. Basically he’s spamming tri attack but in different ways.
I don't get why Hyness didn't become a playable character, at the end of the Heroes from Another Dimension mode a friend-heart fell on him and it's implied he became the good man he used to be before getting corrupted by Negative Energy. He's also my favourite new character from this game, so he would've definitely became my new main.

But with the lore that existed at the time of Star Allies, I would say that Galacta Knight is the more likely explanation.

Whoa. Really? I only played this game for several hours, and my friend and I both had stuff we needed to do, so we kind of challenged ourselves to finish the game in that small amount of time, so we couldn't really read the pause screen text most of the time.

Kirby music can be cheery and candyland, but they can also be these epic, INTENSE songs that sound like a battle between gods or something like that.
The musicians and composers who create these songs are at the highest level of musical prowess to be making music like this, so powerful and emotional with only audio.
I swear, you can listen to any soundtrack from the main line Kirby games and you’ll find something that can be considered one of the best songs ever.

I don't get why Hyness didn't become a playable character, at the end of the Heroes from Another Dimension mode a friend-heart fell on him and it's implied he became the good man he used to be before getting corrupted by Negative Energy.

With the lore that existed at the time, I'd say that last part checks out. That or Hyness' ancestors who were also part of this Dark Matter group... cult... thing. With the current lore, I would say maybe that could apply to Fecto Elfilis as well? The Ancients had to stop the furry from destroying their civilization somehow. But with the lore that existed at the time of Star Allies, I would say that Galacta Knight is the more likely explanation.
