I see your 7 years of age in 1986, and raise you 7 years old in 1978, when I had gotten into JMJ, Tangerine Dream, Kraftwerk, Vangelis, Mike Oldfield, Bryan Eno, and others.... have loved many of the pieces each of magicians created, and, still do... But, either way, respect to you fella, like any who appreciate the classic instigators of popular Electronic music (though, Wendy Carlos also had a hand in it slightly earlier with her use of the Moog)... I feel a it of a traitor saying this, but I prefer these interpretations of Monsieur Jarre's pieces to the originals, (and should you, perchance, come across this comment, Monsieur Jarre, please don't take offence - I have every album you've ever released, it's just that these seem to 'flow' more, from theme to theme than did yours; it's not just that this artist has led one piece to another more smoothly - they have used either different synths, or just different sounds, emphases on sounds, and differing stresses on key musical phrases as the pieces progress and fade, each into the next one, to bring an absolutely flawless 'whole' to the listener.) Perhaps both of you might, one day, appear with each other on stage - I'd cut off a vital part of my reproductive anatomy to attend such a performance ! .. Well done the both of you; M.Jarre for their creation, and this musician / orchestrator for this 'take' on them. .. Chris Swann, South Devon, England.
