We had a padosi aunty who is like my second mother. She's been always there for us at every step of the way. She and my mom are like sisters. Thank god for padosi like these 😊

As a child, I loved the food sent across by neighbours even though my mother was a good cook too. Somehow the novelty of the flavour of their chole, rajma, custard etc appealed to me then. Sadly, in the days of swiggy and zomato and diverse palates, no one prepares extras of specialities any more to send across and whatever they crave for can easily be ordered.
Tbh padosi like these are blessing and they can make childhood awesome for kids.
Gone are those days! We don't have such culture in flat system. But yes, when we were kids things were like this

Wierd, cause where I live no one even knows who is living next door no one even greets each other when the see each other. No one goes to anyones house neither on wedding nor funerals but yes they do meet each other when they have to fight and just because of the people living in front of our house I couldn't keep my dogs because I made a arrangement for them in the room which is on the roof so apparently the neighbors could hear them bark and were getting disturbed by them. So they fought with my father and my father had to give them away😞😠😠😒😒
