Thank you Ruth ,another beautifully put together tutorial . I fell for it immediately your demo started and ordered it via you. Your imagination is amazing ,sun lovely projects . thank you for sharing your talent. ❤
Thank you Ruth for another beautiful demonstration, I can’t wait to get started on this one, it will be my first memory book so fingers crossed it will all go to plan xx 😘
Thanks very much, Kath. It's easier than you think to make a memory book so just relax and enjoy the process. Try not to spend too long thinking about it before hand. I think that's what holds people back. Just go for it! :)
Wow, you have done it again Ruth. What lovely ideas and samples. I particularly love the card. Just right for Grandparents. Well I would love to receive something like it. The bank manager is going to hate me 😃 Thanks Ruth 😉🥰🥰xxx
Thank you for this helpful tutorial! Your card and little book turned out so pretty. I really appreciate you going through the die set and giving your thoughts on various ways the different dies could be used. I have a lot of "memory book" stamps and dies, and haven't at down to actually use them, but winter is here and I usually get a chance to craft then. I think that the die set has a lot of possibilities for use besides just the memory book concept.
Thanks very much. I'm glad you like the extra tips. If you let me know what you like I can keep incorporating it into my videos - so thank you! And, yes! There definitely lots of versatility with this set and lots of other ways in which it could be used. After I posted this I turned the circle with the flat part facing downwards and it could be used as a snow globe too :)
VERY beautiful! Some steps you did different than Jodie but yours were easier to follow and your putting that middle piece of the pop up on the left side instead of the right made it lay much nicer! I keep thinking of Christmas balls from your paper ...and then making a dated mini album that can hang on the tree each year.
Thanks very much, Denise. Yes, they do look a bit like Christmas balls/baubles! Lovely idea. After I'd finished and posted the video I thought I could have turned it upside down and made a snow globe
The thing I don't like about Tonic dies, and why I don't buy many, are that the mat-n-layers are so wide- I prefer 1/8" as IMHO it is far more professional and classy looking (Although yours is gorgeous!) - If you have any influence please drop a word that I think they should offer and option of a 1/8" mat... a 1"4 is nice if you are going to use two, but not one. Or is that just an American's preference?
Thanks very much, Denise. I'm not sure that they will change this as it seems to be very popular. I quite like both sizes so don't mind but I understand what you mean :)
My goodness, those projects are stunning, you should be very happy about the results. I am so impressed. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much, Deb! I'm so glad you enjoyed this :)
