I like how you can do the flip kick now without having to crouch completely still. It's not a useless joke move now you can mix it in Wave - stance do the flip kick and avoid Low attacks or even Rage art. I saw a paul bait a rage art by doing wave dash, flip kick, he fell on top of Lars player and won.

I'll just call it deep crouch dash (dcd) dcd df4 is a cheeky long range low to knowledge check dcd df21 and dcd df23 is a whiff punish if you see them jab kinda like Jin old zen 1+2 after f4 And as for dcd df3+4 just a really stylish wall combo that do 16 damage at low slump or a combo ender just to show them your cool ass execution and how stylish you are lol (How useless these option are depend on how minus they are on block since dcd does go under high from what i can tell)
i am sad because i got to play t8 cbt and paul just seems like t7 paul with heat. Alot of characters seem to do a lot of things pretty differently but paul has no changes almost
U said new stance when he never haved stance before in other old tekkens the only characters who got stance is Miguel,Kuma/panda,Heihachi,Zafina and some other characters tbh

The main purpose seems to be so that you can kill with the incomplete back flip 😂😂😂
Most likely just to throw off an opponent but other than that, I'd say it's just a variation of an existing tool rather than anything new
I noticed a detail, this move where he spins backwards it is completely inspired by Marshall Law's, but apparently Paul wasn't able to do it properly.
qcf df2,3 could be a useful floor break if they reach the wall in a combo, but that's just my theory tho
