@@mohanbabu908 Not really, you can run the gravity light directly off the dynamo. The gravitational potential is the battery. On the contrary I dont think you can use the solar panel directly without a battery as the solar panel output will fluctuate a lot, due to cloud and sun' s position, or you have to buy an expensive solar tracker to get constant light. I dont know what you are talking about.

The main reason to use wings to store large amount of fuel is to distribute the weight of fuel. Moreover. the fuel tank won't be just only in wings. It will be located in the fuselage too. It depends on how the designer chooses to distribute the fuel load. The second point is wing is made of skeletons and skin, not a solid one. Hence the space inside wing can be utilized to store less density fuel, compared with the material of the wing. The point when you say about wing will break if the tank is located in the fuselage is wrong. The wing is designed to lift the 95% percentage of the weight where as the remaining 5% is provided by the tail. The main issue is how you distribute the load along the wing and fuselage. After that only the pumping and pipeline comes into picture. As far as the stability of the aircraft with respect to C.G is concerned, it depends on the aerodynamics of the wing and tail.
His point about the C.G. was actually very good. He said that the lift force acts at the wings. This is similar to balancing a pencil on a finger. The finger here is equivalent to the wings and the pencil to the aircraft body. In the pencil scenario, any change in the mass of the finger is not going to significantly affect the balance of the pencil. In other words closer the mass to the line of balance or C.G. , lesser will be the effect of change in that mass. Because a change in mass at any point of the aircraft body will create a turning moment about the C.G. This turning moment is directly propotional to the distance of the mass from the C.G. So lesser the distance lesser the moment.

All airliners have a center tank in the fuselage also, because wings alone don't have enough fuel storage for the entire range. They always complete the center tanks first so that the stress on wings are reduced as the gross weight of the fuselage decreases, then the left and right wing tanks supply fuel for the remaining flight.

Why don't you conduct workshops for engineering students. Because almost 90% of engineering colleges were taking only theoretical classes that too not in a proper manner. But you guys are teaching good with a proper examples. Even though I'm not a mechanical or electrical engineer, I'm able to understand the sciences its just because of you guys. Rather than blaming our education system, let we improve the education system
