marvelandgroup I was wondering about that but as of 2017, El is doing well. He is still touring on his own because the fans enjoy his older music and is working on a new album. It was supposed to come out in July but he held it back due to some business issues. As far as his relapse, I think it was too much too fast. El is enjoying making music and interacting with his fans. Drug addiction is usually not a one and done thing and Interscope should have realized that. With drug addiction, you can backslide after about 6 months to a year. Sometimes, it can take a longer period of time but again, El is good.
What a shame. I was wondering why I had not really heard much of the music for any length of time when it came out. I know I do not live under a rock but I honestly had to go to pull up the album and listen to it on spotify.. It was great! That man should have won a Grammy.
He didnt relapse at that time.he felt like he would so he ended up going into rehab.but yes it did kill it.cuz 5 seconds, close to you, and when i see you could have been hits. But the album was hailed as the best of 2010 and garnered 3 grammy noms so..
