Yeah man, that was ridiculous. Like you can't get a clearer red card than that. I guess he had to chose to either count the goal or give a red card and a penalty to Liverpool and he chose the first. Unless the rule changed, there's no advantage to a red card foul, so it was either counting the goal or giving the red.

Luis Diaz is a wonderful player. I was quite concerned when he clashed with the Brighton goal keeper. But it didn’t seem to effect him too much and he played some wonderful football.

As usual, Salah is selfish trying to shoot (to break records as the highest scorer in PL) knowing that the defending is so tight. He hasn't been sharp lately esp after his trip back from afcon.should have turned around and pass the ball (higher chances). He doesn't deserve the pat on his shoulder. With due respect and no offence pls, I would take my hats off for him if he scores ( highest scorer) excluding penalties; then he deserves it!

Still can't understand how the Brighton goalkeeper haven't got at least a yellow card. Fortunately, Luis Diaz is ok.
Pickford and now Sanchez may remain one of the greatest mysteries of life as we know it. I mean seriously there is no defending that challenge. Late, reckless, dangerous. It had everything and doesn't belong in football.
P.S. If that was Australian rugby league or Australian Rules Sanchez would be cited by Match Review Committee and would receive the appropriate ban.
Look, for a yellow he had to pluck at least 3 of Diaz's teeth, or damage an eye, or a deep gash at the head. For Red, Diaz had to be decapitated. None of those happened, so genuinely it can't be a Yellow, forget about the Red.

There was a few instances of poor decision making in the final third in this match but better to do it in a game like this where we can still get a fairly comfortable win.

Jota was wide open. He should have passed earlier. We need the goal difference. But can't be too critical of Diaz he played really well and they will make judgement errors from time to time.

Brilliant to get the 3 points! Refereeing had another shocker today, completely missed the ball and wiped the player out and not even a yellow? With VAR swell it makes it even more disgusting, its week in, week out with these refs messing up in at least 1 game over the weekend. Anyway we keep the pressure on City and move on!
