While I agree with your POV but Gillespie and Kirsten was focusing on consistency in selection process to reduce insecurity amongst players of getting dropped off. The point is you need an unbiased eye to identify the true talent and being consistent with them.

From Jason's possible pov- If Pak playing 11 is given a rest before the Eng test then there should be no excuse for fitness even though it is not required at the moment... Jason seems to be wiping off all possible excuses and then he will take his axe out if they don't perform... Looking at the current Pak team they don't have a test match fitness and if they are working in background then at least Jason will be safe to say that team was given enough rest to recover from so called hectic schedule during the Champions Cup... I dont buy this but trying to understand it from Jason's pov...

Possibly true. But also, we can see clearly that the ODIs in this heat in Faisalabad is taking a toll on the players. Its very visible. The humidity and heat leads to more breakdowns. Idher they are slamming Shaheen (easy target nowadays) but cant see the heat exhaustion and wear and tear on players due to faisalabad heat? August September are not conducive to cricket in Punjab.

Err guys, Champions Cup was to find domestic talent to replace intl experienced Pakistani players when the time comes. To have bench strength. Its a good thing that the intl players are not playing the playoffs, esp the inflated Markhors. abb pata chalay ga na ke kis main kitna dum hai. Abhi tak national team walay players were holding their teams together. They need a break between formats. Gillespie ne sahi kiya hai. This was a stupid “vision” of Mohsin Naqvi anyway. Baqi i agree ke Test squad is same old same old. They were very conservative with it.
We can put Pakistan cricketer's photo in a gym transformation poster where we can put Pak cricketers' photo in before section and in after section we can put Indian/Australian/English cricketers' or any other fit personality photo. Dekhna gym popular ho jayega specially here in India. New gymers will feel the motivation.

Kamran Ghulam, Tayyab Tahir, Sahibzada Farhan, Huraira, Mohammed Ali, Mubasir Khan, Haseebullah Jahandad, Mohammed Hasnain have to do to get selected for the Test team.
Babar Azam is great odi player but a test player, even Rizwan is a average test player. Shaheen Afridi is absolutely awful atm, how can he be in the test team
