Silkaz7 The switch pro controller works with vwii games and wii u games. The problem that I found is that the right analog stick when you touch up or down it does left or right. 8 bitdo needs to fix this. But if you have wii u pro controller, you can use it for wii virtual console and wii games with wii pro controller support. Connect the 8bitdo receiver to the wiimote and sync it.
I want a pro controller for my wii u but the wii u pro controller is actually more expensive than the switch pro controller where i live, so i wanted one i can use on both systems... hopefully 8bitdo fixes it.
i wish the switch controller would work normally with the switch controller because i hate the placement of the right joystick on the wii u pro controller
Well I wasn’t able to get a Wii U pro controller when they were out and my gamepad is kinda broken all’s I really have is a knockoff pro controller and it’s not the best and I’ve been playing my old games with the gamepad and all but like I said it’s kinda broken so the right analog stick moves up and down itself if it’s moved and the screen is scratched and I need a battery for it because the one I have is wore out and only stays alive for about 20min so I gotta leave it in the charger while playing
Hey bud I just came across this and seen it's been a while. Have you found a easier solution to using a switch controller on wiiu by chance? Any information would be greatly appreciated
Ain't nothing like some good ol' Super Smash Brothers! Me personally if they have the GameCube joycons I'd use them for the new Smash when it comes out! 😃
Does the conversion allow you to use gyro cause Wii U pro controller doesn’t have gyro for those shrines in BOTW and it would be nice if you didn’t need to use game pad
The Wii U was basically the prequel to the Nintendo Switch. It is the Terminator T-100 from Skynet. They refined the gamepad to have higher resolution, added the processors and drive directly to the handheld as opposed to having an sepersted disc drive, switched to the classic cartridges that are synonymous with the Nintendo name (because let's be honest, it just feels wrong putting the disc in my Nintendo!!! You can't take a disk out and blow inside of it until you almost pass out from asphyxiation, and you can't out the game 99% of the way inside then push down so it sets it at the very edge of the reader! You can't hit reset 2.3 times per second on a disc!😅😅😅😅😂) And gave a more universal storage system with the SD cards.
Hi I have the cronusmax and this controller www.broadenedhorizons.com/ultimate-arcade2. And im thinking of buying the brook converter to play in my switch. Since brook is now compatible with the switch, in your experience do you believe it will work? (Im a c6 quadriplegic, thats why I need to use that controller)
Brook converter is works well from my experience, but I think my particular device drifts the left input occasionally when I play Mario Kart 8 with my ps4 controller. I havent updated mine since January of this year, so there may or might not be a fix for that assuming its only for standard edition. Another thing is that the converter is treated like a pokken controller and not switch pro controller. I see now they updated the switch specific edition on their site, however no download link for it yet (unless its in the change log for standard edition.).
Ronski you might wanna check out My Mate Vince. He has vids up connecting switch pro controller to original Wii. It should work assume there the usb cable uses the same switch drivers.
affansonicfan there's a bit of lag since wireless interference comes in and out. You can actually play Botw WiiU with switch pro controller via homebrew.
affansonicfan look up HID to vpad on homebrew shop or Google. That program used switch pro controller and emulates it to be Wii u pro controller or gamepad
you can use your switch pro controller using 8bitdo receiver. connect the receiver to the wiimote and pair it.
leogroovy is there a source I can look at for this?? Did the 8bitduo update their Bluetooth stack to support pro already?
Can you elaborate on how to do this? thanks

Silkaz7 Otherwise you can check the nes30pro that I believe it works with both. www.8bitdo.com/nes30pro-fc30pro/ Good luck.
And I'm over here thinking "if I plug in the charging cable to the Wii U it should work right?"
Same
Yes it does
Jose Mario Aguilar it don’t
@@Mster129 exactly
Didn’t work for me

At the end you get used to

THEREALGAMER Mii Id say you’d get used to using the switch pro controller over the gc in like an hour
gamecube joycons??

Does this work with the regular Wii? I want to get my Switch Pro Controller running on there so I can use homebrew software easier.
Can u show me how to connect a switch wired controller to a wii u please i am having trouble with it,when i connect it with the usb it wont work 😞
And then there's me, playing with HID2Vpad
Can you use amiibo?
Probably not
good job dude!
Can you use an alambric nintendo switch controller on wii u?
When there's a will there's a way
Danger Dan I honestly read this as “when there’s a Wii, there’s a way”
What about joycons with the Wii u?
u can do the same thing but with a bluetooth to usb . its confusing
Would it work on Wii or GameCube?
Probably not but idk
HID to VPAD can replace all this
Will the switch controller work on the Nintendo wii and Wii U ?
I think Nintendo should have just put the Wii U Console and The Nintendo Switch Pro Console together as one
The Wii U was basically the prequel to the Nintendo Switch. It is the Terminator T-100 from Skynet. Will this work with the Official Wireless N64 controller?
I hate that you need all this fancy stuff just to get this to work
Does it work as a classic controller or a pro controller?

Do you think this could be done with one of the wired pro controllers? @JbrockPony
Ronski you might wanna check out My Mate Vince. He has vids up connecting switch pro controller to original Wii. It should work assume there the usb cable uses the same switch drivers.
JbrockPony Alright, thanks! I will check that out. I'd like to get used to using that controller now to get ready for Smash 5 coming out haha
Adapter?
Do the wired controller from switch work on wii u too?
With homebrew, you can now just simply plug pro controller and play. However, im not sure if they fixed the dead zone issues by now.
@@JbrockPony Ok, thanks!
is there any button lag? I'm trying to use a switch pro controller to play botw on wii u because the wii u pro controller fucking sucks.
affansonicfan there's a bit of lag since wireless interference comes in and out. You can actually play Botw WiiU with switch pro controller via homebrew.
JbrockPony how do you do that exactly? is there a program that I can download on the hb channel that allows me to use the switch pro controller?

can you do this to use the PS4 controller on the Switch?
Unfortunately no. No info is available on that
You can achieve both without any additional hardware
gbatemp.net/threads/hid-to-vpad.424127/
this is Homebrew on the Wii U not the Switch.
Not sure if you follow brook super converters, but they recently updated ps4/xbox one controller support on switch.
How did you get smash
buying it
pretty cool vut too complicated
Do u need a pc for this?
yes
JbrockPony oh ok ty
