Horses are not like s clock a clock does sixty seconds sixty minutes twenty four hours for days on end a horse can never run a six furlong in 1 : 09 continuously days on end pace makes the race at times at other times pace leaves a bad taste on punters face

@@junioradam8073 ima a total novice but I think it would still stand pace makes the race BUT predicting the pace is the problem
What pace numbers do you use ?
I like Timeform Pace Numbers and also use the Brisnet pace numbers to look at races and see if they had fast or slow paces.

Yes that final push could be what's needed. Wagering. Ticket construction and final decision making all are part of the process.
