I started last month i'm 10 and also Lillets is a great brand for pads and they have a little kit you can buy and I defo recommend them.
I started my pirod last month and a great brand is always btw I am 12
@EveYT we don't need to empty the cup the diva cup can hold for 8 To 12 hours and mostly school is for 6 to 7 hours so we can empty it at our home and wash it and reuse it 😀

I started my period when I was 10, now I’m 13 and still don’t know half of these products so this video will really help. Thanks Ken. I’m the eldest out of the kids in my family so I have no one to go to besides my mum, but I get embarrassed, don’t know why I just do. This video didn’t just help Paislee, it helped me. You’re like my big sister Ken. Love you ❤❤

Paislee is such a beautiful little girl. It’s great to see her big sister reassure her especially during such formative years.
I love is that Kennedeeis able to have these open conversations with her sisters and she’s able to share all the tips and tricks and things that she’s learned since obviously getting her own period .
I wish I had an older sister who talked to me about this before I started mine and now the younger generation who watch you can now be prepared for when it happens to them

My roommate told her daughter at a young age when she was 7 she got her period at 12. I told a little girl that was staying out house with her family about what a period was at 9 years old good thing because she started at 9 years old.

@@yalissaend5348 oh yeah everyone is different if she is having discharge her period could be 6 months to a year.I started puberty at 10 in the summer time o was getting close to 11.

For the girls that only wear pads and don’t like the other options. Use a really big pad so you don’t have to worry about leaking. Like night pads. I use them day and night and I never worry. Good luck 🍀 ❤
For school its good to use night pads because they don't let us go to the toilet

Depends I tried using a night pad I was doing some volunteer work. I leaked on my clothes and I was wearing a night pad.
it really depends on if you have a strong or weak period mine is strong so i still have to change the night pad hope this helps :)

I wish videos like this had been a thing when I was younger! It's really helpful for a lot of young people!
I started when I was 10, on the first day after christmas break. It was a very stressed morning, and just as mum was rushing me and my brother out of the house, I really needed to use the bathroom. And what do you know, my period thought it was a great day to stop by! I had no freaking clue what was going on, so I told my mum I thought something was wrong since there was blood as I was peeing... I imagine having access to videos like this will help many from that scare!
Also, a little bit of advice. Many are sensitive in that area, so it can be a good idea to be careful what material your pads are. There are scented and unscented pads, and the unscented kind are more gentle to your skin. There can also be different blends of plastic, cotton and other materials in different brands. I used a different brand once and I got really bad rashes along the edge of the pad. Turned out I reacted to something in them, and when I used my regular brand pads, it was all good. Just something to keep in mind!

I started my period on October in 2022 and I was 11 at the time and I still am.
PaisLee could have hers like any day now but your family apparently gets their periods at 13 or 14. Getting PaisLee be prepared for her period is very nice as an older sister.
I have the weirdest and also the funniest story of when I first got my period. 😂😂
I'm not going to say the story but all I'm saying is that I wasn't at school when I got it.
I still get creeped out when I hear those words and I just start cringing and laughing.
I'm still ashamed of having my period and I feel like I got mine early. I wish I got my period a little bit later so that I could understand more. Watching yours and Kass' period videos is so helpful as an 11 year old whose just started it you guys are like siblings talking to me. I might sound a little silly but honestly it really does help me!

I’ve been using the Flex disc for over a year now and they’re my absolute favorite and I have a heavy flow. I also teach swim lessons so something I don’t have to change often is the best for me. They have disposable and reusable ones!
Yeah a thing to note about when Ken showed her the cup is that she told her that people don't bleed very much, but some people do. My mom warned me before I got my period that girls in my family tend to have a heavier flow and so cups didn't work for her since she had to dump them like every 2 hours and it was gross to do at school. So i've never tried one, but maybe I should try a flex disc?

My period started when I was 10 and I have no sisters only 2 brothers so know one told me what it was but thank god I have amazing aunts and my mom. They helped me a lot during the first time and I am grateful for that.❤

I’m 12, and started mine at 11. It was a very strange 1 year, but now I understand it and I’m okay with it. ❤ Paislee is so lucky! I have acne, and back acne, because I started puberty at 10.. I don’t know if she has any acne but its clear for me that I do and I do skincare but it doesn’t always work lol. ❤️ love y’all !

I got acne about 13 i still have acne and I’m a adult in my 30” s. I think I got my period at 13 maybe 14 it seemed like I was late to get my period because my two friends got there periods at 11 years old. But one was like two years younger than me so she was 11 I was 13 I was worried about not having my period but I started when I still in middle school.

I think it’s great that KennaDee is spending time with her sister and talking about periods, products and personal care. Even though their parents are very open with the kids, sometimes it’s just more comfortable talking with a sibling.
I started my period when I was 10 years old (I was one month away from my bday when it happed so technically 11) I’m the 2nd oldest so my older sister got it before me so I knew what to do. Every girl deserves this talk when they’re 8-11. It can happen anytime. It’s always great to be prepared! Your a great sister Ken ❤️ girls always remember help a girl out.

people say its a week a month, but for some its different! mines only 3 days sometimes 4 depending on how much water i drink xx

Don't worry! I'm 12 and I just got mine! It's not as bad as you think! Just talk to your mom or sister or aunt. You dont have to be embarrassed! It's natural.

I got my period at 9 and I was very scared, my mom hadn’t even talked to me about it. It was even worse because I’m the youngest of three boys, now I’m 13. My brothers were so cute about it, now looking back I still don’t even know half of these. Your video helped me a lot.

If you get cold at night, since heating pads aren’t very big, you could get a heated blanket, they are so cozy and warm. Love your vids!

I started at 10, so 3 years ago and i didnt even know some of these things, so this actually helped me a lot more!!
I got my period at 12 (September 2022) and all the females in my house were out, so it was just me, my dad and my little brother😭 at first I was in denial of it and hid in my room all day but when my mum came back I told my parents who really did help. I found it hard having no females in the house for one day, but I can't imagine what it's like not living with any females or feeling comfortable to talk to someone (feel free to ask questions under this!!) Thank u so much for normalizing periods, remember they're nothing to be ashamed of💗💗
