Why do people insist on saying they are "on air" or "broadcasting", when they are "streaming" audio over the internet? Also, why do they insist on referring to "equipment" as "kit"?
Why do people always act pretentious and take colloquial phrases literally? Why do they try to sound extremely intelligent when they call out these colloquial phrases because they aren't literally correct? Got a transmitter???? if not, it's NOT radio.. It may be live streaming.... or podcasting. .but it is NOT radio...
