Less than that out of the 63 I have seen as of my reply there have only been 4 that don't specifically reference those shows. I can't even be sure if they don't know about them.
All those years of watching Tech Dif have shown me that Gary has a great combination of humour and insightfulness, telling an obscure but genuinely interesting fact, and then following it up with a knob joke 😆 And for all the times his archivist job has been brought up in the shows, I've never actually seen what that entails, so thank you very much for making this video!

this Gary Brannan is, in fact, my favourite Gary Brannan, and not just because of Tech Dif. It's because this is stuff that my job, at a university on the other side of the planet, can reach into the digital space and I can know, if it's available, if this archive can offer it, they will do their best to, and I can tell any given student to go looking because I know it's there, to the best of our efforts to preserve it. Super cool stuff.

This entire comment section proves that Gary will forever be connected to the technical difficulties
It's everyone's favourite Gary Brannon, Gary Brannon
There might be some Citiation Needed for this, except for the fact that he's everyone's favorite Gary Brannan. That's already proven fact.
3/4 the chat: It’s everyone’s favourite Gary Brannan!... Other 1/4: What?
Less than that out of the 63 I have seen as of my reply there have only been 4 that don't specifically reference those shows. I can't even be sure if they don't know about them.
How dapper everybody's favourite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan looks here.
It's everybody's favourite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan!
Wow, its everyone's favourite Gary Brannan, dressed in something else than a sweatshirt!!! Class!
Don't know how I got here, but seeing Gary is a nice change of pace!
It's everyones favourite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan!
as opposed to everyone's second favourite Gary Brannan, Matt Gray

Ooh, aah, just a little bit.
I don’t know if our favourite Gary Brannan has dressed up for the occasion, or if he dresses down for the TechDif shows. Either way, Gaz looks most resplendent in his vest and tie.
This is my favourite Gary Brannan I think
Maybe there's a document in the archive that can tell us why Chris was called Toast
That will not be in the archives, because it...
Never happened!
I noticed the other day when rewatching for the umpteenth time, the season shot under the stairs is at Chris's house, there is little in the kitchen except a very fancy looking toaster. say what you like, but this is clearly a man that takes his toast very seriously. Coincidence? I think not.
We are a small niche of people united under one banner. We all really like Tech Dif apparently, and with Tech Dif, our favorite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan
A purple banner?

We march beneath the purple banner to glory!
Kudos to whoever designed the thumbnail, you know what you're doing
I interned for a short while at an archive a few years back, it's pretty cool.
We didn't have a Gary Brannan though, so it wasn't as cool as this archive.
It's everyone's favourite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan.
It is so weird seeing Gary in more formal clothes and talking very nicely and calmly unlike what you get used to with our favourite Gary Brennan, Gary Brennan
this Gary Brannan is, in fact, my favourite Gary Brannan, and not just because of Tech Dif. It's because this is stuff that my job, at a university on the other side of the planet, can reach into the digital space and I can know, if it's available, if this archive can offer it, they will do their best to, and I can tell any given student to go looking because I know it's there, to the best of our efforts to preserve it. Super cool stuff.
this adds to the reasons that Gary Brannan is everyone's favourite Gary Brannan
It's lovely to see a different side of everybody's favourite Gary Brannan. He obviously takes pride in his work and its great to see.
everyones favorite gary brannan, gary brannan
I didn't recognize him by name, but, looking at the thumbnail, I did have that, _"Do I remember him from somewhere?"_ feeling.
When I heard "archive" it all came back together.
Why was this only recommended to me today? He's everyone's favourite Gary Brannan! Apparently "everyone" doesn't include the algorithm almighty? Well, better late than never, I guess.
Also, what a wonderful intro to the series. Couldn't have picked a better person!
Our favorite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan in his element. A delight to see.
Hey look, it's everybody's favourite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan! Dressed rather more smartly than I've usually seen him.
Remember, this is the same man that made a very loud noise.
Our favorite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan, definitely deserves some mystery biscuits for his amazing work
It's everyone's favorite Gary Brannan, Gary Brannan!!!
Came because, of course, Gary, but stayed because holy heck, archival place is so damn beautiful
I love seeing the professional side of Gary. His humor and lightheartedness is very fun to see on other channels, but you could always tell that he had a passion for history betwixt the humor. Its super cool to hear him speak passionately about this!
Everyone's favourite Gary Brannan
Gary Brannan
Has to be my favourite Gary Brannan
Thought this was on my recommended page because the comments were going to be filled with Magnus Archives references but no it my favorite Gary Brannan
Everyone's favourite Gary Brannan showing us his job is something I didn't know I needed. It's actually a very interesting profession.
Gotta thank the folks keeping archives of human history alive for future generations to review. Thanks Gary Brannan for both your humorous excapades with the Technical Difficulties and your work as an Archivist.
I'm not sur if I ought to apologize for the TechDiff invasion here or suggest you use Gary's public persona outside archives for publicity. He might become someone like Irving Finkle if you let him.
Irving Finkel: Assyriologist, literate in cuneiform, and the man you ask when you wonder if reading aloud from a clay tablet makes you an audiobook
I love Gary, even if there is a 2/3 chance he is actually lying.
Everybody's favourite Gary Brannan...
