I think I dont like widow fundamentally. I used to play a lot of widow. Got some nice clips like those here. But I feel like the hero is just... not right for overwatch. I know its an unpopular opinion. But to me, the fact that having amazing aim alone can carry you high in the ranks, regardless of your understanding of the game or its mechanics, doesnt seem to fit. Aim is only a part of a game like overwatch. I think the team play is thrown in the trash when you play widow. As you quickly realize your own carry potential, and thinking further about that it seems unfair. Ive lost a lot of sr switching to playing lucio almost exclusively. But i think overwatch should leave you with a lot more to do and think about than just landing headsets and abusing sight lines. While I haven't made it back up to masters on lucio, the game feels a lot more... well I feel like I know more about overwatch now. 1000 hours on widow I never had to really ult track or strategize to maintain my rank. Just aim. A skill I learned and perfected through years of... every other fps game ever since medal of honor and halo. But I really like overwatch now. Its become my favorite game. So much to learn and do. So easy to play but hard to master. Unless your widow. Just download aim trainer set it up and become what you see in this video. Maybe I'm salty after ditching widow and mcree, and really staying away from hitscan to learn rollout heros and high mobility projectils stuff. Its hard to make lucio or doomfist work against a widow. Much harder than it was to just kill them when I played widow. Tldr, widow main convinced himself there was not much to learn about the game playing widow, switched to other heros, realized how advantaged widow was.

Overwatch league pros have been complaining about how widow players completely dominate the game match after match. Widow and hanzo by design just doesn't fit into the team-based game overwatch is supposed to be. You can be the most cohesive team in the universe but the enemy widow can still snipe you from a mile away.
