For me this is the hardest movement in the sonata, and among the hardest pieces in my repertoire technically and musically. I hope you could watch the whole video and if you like it, please share!
Finally! When this releases, I will watch it. Thank you, Flaming Piano! You are an awesome youtuber! Also, put this video in your classical playlist. 🙂
Subscribed!
Good job! This is the hardest movement of the appassionata imo and you played it very well. I've just started learning this piece as well
Great performance!! Congratulations, my friend. Both your fantastic visuals and performance are incredible 🎉🎉
Thank you very much!!! I'd love to see this in your channel too!
Traum can you also upload appassionata?
Yes, @TraumPiano. Please upload your performances of Beethoven's Appassionata.
Easily one of the best Beethoven piano sonatas. I don't see many other people doing this movement so thank you for uploading.
I agree. Thank you too!
Thank you for posting this video, my piano teacher used this video and asked me if it was the appassionata sonata I wanted!
This started out nice, I was enjoying it with my coffee. And then....CRASH!!! BANG!!! CRASH!!!! Suddenly I was enjoying it even more.
Wow... thanks a lot!
Charming. There is a prince who looks upon you with loving eyes ❤
Found you playing the 3rd movement two years go and have followed you since waiting for this moment. This was beyond words! Thank you!
And people still say, "Moonlight" is challenging. That's one hell of a interpretation. Looking forward to the dreaded "Hammerklavier"!
That's an absolute nightmare... but thanks!
I'm pretty sure there's a certain hand technique to Beethoven's Hammerklavier, but I'm excited to see how The Flaming Piano learns how to play it, especially since he's done an outstanding job with several other difficult piano pieces like Appassionata Movement 3.
Great job! Those intense Beethoven highs and lows and being able to quickly switch between them - it's no easy feat 🎶
Thank you very much! That seems like the highlight of the piece, isn't it
my favourite piece
So great piano performance dear friend.
Thanks for sharing.
Full view and big like.
I wish you a happy time...👍👍
By far my favourite piano channel no joke
Means a lot to hear that. Thanks!!!
Beethoven!! Appassionata!! Awesome rendition, this is great 👏🏻
Thank you very much!
Incredible, must have taken so much practice! Great dynamics, the first time it changed surprised me, I thought I accidentally hit the volume controls haha. And wow, you got a comment from Sung Chang/Traum!
Thanks a lot! It's an emotionally unstable piece, the sudden changes are its highlights. And yeah we've been subbed to each other ever since. It's always an honor for him to listen to my covers
@@TheFlamingPiano Wow! I never knew that you subscribed to another UA-cam piano performer's channel. It's really nice to hear that certain UA-camrs subscribe to each other.
How on earth have I never heard this before? This is easily one of my new favorite Beethoven pieces. Might have to try to learn it myself one day. Fantastic performance!
Gorgeous playing! Forgot how much I loved this sonata 😍
My dad knows how play this piece and whenever he isn’t playing it I listen to this
Lets go!! Have been waiting for you to do this piece. Thank you for uploading and I wish u good luck for Mephisto Waltz
the third movement is best and beatiful
THIS WAS AWESOME!!!
I absolutely love the way this was played. I don't know if it is a real performance but it sounds very realistic and outstanding. Absolutely perfect performance in every department.
Thanks a lot! It's real but doctored, that's why it's "perfect"
You’re amazing with your fast fingers. Have a great day!
A wonderful performance of one of my favourite composition by Beethoven. Thanks for this piece, despite all the dificulties for posting the video. Congratulations!
Thank you too!
Impressive and wonderful !!, Thanks for the Beethoven treat my fr…applause…jeff
Very smooth & flawless technique. The part from 8:22 until the end is my favorite part in this movement and you did it very good. Congratulations on such a difficult piece 🎉
Thank you very much! It's kinda doctored though
Can you pls do scriabin sonata 8?
Amazing job on this very difficult sonata :)
I turned my volume up and then BOOMSHAKALAKA
never expected the presentation was this good btw
Hehe... Thanks a lot!
Superb rendition full of drama and contrasts! Bravo!!
Thank you very much!
BRAVOO! Wonderful interpretation!

Such a beautiful piece, really well played!
Awesome performance. Thank you for sharing it!
Great playing! Congrats on 100k!🎉
Wow, seems like you are back. I'm looking forward for your magnificent play and your 100k special!
Next Tempest 1st movement please
insane piece, well played sounds amazing
Thank you so much for uploading this
Wonderful performance, good luck my friend 💜
You kept your promise!!! However, I do have another performance request for another well-known Beethoven piece. Can you perform Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (one video per movement)? I know that's a lot to ask (and that it's probably easier than Beethoven's Appassionata), but I'd like to see you perform it on the channel.
Eventually when I relearn it. It's been so long since I last played them
@@TheFlamingPiano Well keep up the good work! You've got 2 out of the 3 movements done in Beethoven's Appassionata. Can't wait to see the conclusion you upload for this sonata!
Love itttt! If you don’t mind me asking, since I know you did the 3rd Movement already, are you planning on doing the 2nd Movement to complete the Appassionata Sonata?
Yes but not anytime soon. 2nd and 3rd together
@@TheFlamingPianoThanks for letting me know, I’m excited and can’t wait for it. Also, Love your channel, keep up the great work you do! :)
@@TheFlamingPiano 2nd and 3rd together? Wow! These videos on just one piece are few and far apart, but I'm excited for when you release the final video on Beethoven's Appassionata sonata! Keep up the good work!
an excellent performance 👍
It is so tough to practice some passages. I might come back on this sonata later! Well played.
Thanks! And yes I also find some passages very hard
@@TheFlamingPiano As did I, but I managed to learn to play the entire sonata. Regardless, I love your performance of the 1st movement in this video! Can't wait to see you perform the 2nd and 3rd movements together!
So very marvelous again 👍👍all good
Awesomeee
Fabulous loved it ❤
Fantastic performance!
Thanks again for your ideas!
Qué bueno que volviste!!!

Already did it (but I plan to redo with 2nd) ua-cam.com/video/WKzLKMRuqGY/v-deo.html
@@TheFlamingPiano thanks
Hey there
I'd like to ask whether it is sensible to learn chopin ballade no 2 with bethoven appasionata 3rd movement if I only have 3 months for my music exam
(For context I learned the fast parts and the coda in the ballade and the first 3 pages of the appasionata at a moderate tempo in 1 and a half week)
Can't really say as I'm not as familiar with Ballade 2 but I think it's possible if you put in enough hours of practice per day
I think you should go for it.
Ballade 2 is fun to learn and play. (You mentioned that you already learned the fast parts and coda)
The only problem that I had from trying to learn Ballade 2 is that I have no patience at all.
3 months should be more than enough to learn both Ballade 2 and Appassionata 3rd.
(Depends on your time consume)
@@Paganini-LisztI practice around 3 hours a day
If you have repertoire that already meets the requirements, don’t even think about starting those pieces. It might feel boring to stick with what you know, but a well refined medium piece is infinitely better than a mediocre advanced piece. The 2nd ballade is the only ballade I haven’t learned, but I believe it is by far the most difficult in technique. My piano teacher has a student who is similar to my level and we performed the four ballades in a concert. Even though he played with passion and good technique, the coda was really rough simply because it is so difficult to pull off properly. Every wrong note is obvious and damaging to the coda. Everyone is going to tell you to shoot for the stars, but you have no business rushing yourself for an exam.
@@faizalkhoury415
3 hours a day in 3 months should be more than enough.
Depending on how much you progress. (You already did stuff in a week so this should be no problem to you).
I still don't get why people find Ballade 2 that hard. I even rate it myself as the 2nd easiest one next to Ballade 3.
❤ amazing news !
Can you also upload sonata no 1 last mvt by Beethoven !??
Wonderful. Love it 👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍Lone Wolf :)
Amazing!
Before you do the 2nd movement, which color of the flames would you like to use? Also, keep up the good work!
Probably red, blue or something close to white
@TheFlamingPiano Good choices, Flaming Piano! I like those colors.
Also, I think you should edit the thumbnail to have the words Sonata 23 in F minor, op. 57 below the title like in your thumbnail for the 3rd movement.
Bellísimo
Impressive 🎩

Looking forward to it! For me, the third movement always seemed so much harder somehow. Guess I played the first way too much
Maybe. The 1st's technique is harder to play consistently for me, harder to keep the rhythm and shape the dynamics ...or I play the 3rd way too much
❤❤❤
Is this to complete all 3 movements or are you just in general redoing all the piece? Either way this is beautiful man its been a while since ive heard from you ❤
Thanks! I hope to do the 2nd and 3rd in one go but not anytime soon
Do second movement
Very well done, I really enjoyed your interpretation. So, now it's on to Hammerklavier right? 😂
Thanks a lot, but not anytime soon
epic
I notice there are only white keys and black keys.
Why are there no orange keys???
I like orange.
Noice
Are you a filipino?
Yes
Rem the ewe can't help it
You have incredible hands 😏
This actually made me tear up, well done 👍
