I enjoy seeing a reunion of Romy & Michele's High School Reunion Glad to see that Mira & Lisa are still Good Friends, God Bless These Super Talented Ladies
"Band" is such an easy word. You can go for "rubber band" or start naming off Beatles, Radiohead, etc. Or even "keyboard, drums, guitar." Her clue was "width." If anyone even knew she was saying "width" and not "with," they still would have guessed height, weight, etc. Nobody hears "width" and thinks, "Oh, she's trying to get me to say band."
@@johnsmi213 It is funny how some people get laser focused and cannot adapt and switch to a different meaning of the word or a different concept. I have noticed that actors that have done improv in the past, tend to do better on this show. Whereas serious actors sometimes struggle. They are not used to ad-libbing or pivoting quickly in the heat of the moment
@@deannad9105 Exactly. They also may understand the limitations people see without the information you have. Elise Neal was bad because she would see sausage and think of a time when she complained it smelled her house up and she'd say "Smelly meat" and smile at herself but to everyone else, that doesn't evoke "sausage." The best clue-givers give clues where you have no choice but to have the word evoked.
Band is even simpler than that. Instead of listing a bunch of bands (which might work), KISS! (i.e. Keep It Simple, Silly!) a 2-word clue should do. e.g.: "musical group"
Some people are just not made for this game. They give stupid clues, they speak slowly, so they are wasting time. When they bet on how many words, they should already be thinking about the clues, so when they give clues, they don't have to think hard
Good players do. That's why Mary McCormack takes a long time to bid. It's not just a matter of bluffing and then walking away... or bluffing badly and being stuck with the game.
Idea for the first three rounds: 250 or 500 point bonus if team guesses all five words. Should make guessing all five words correctly more valuable than opponent receiving points by default.
Terrible idea, since on the bidding process, no one will let up. I'd bid down to one word, since it means we'd have a chance to get a word right and get partial points, and the other team gets zero no matter the case. That the opponent gets points by default fits well with the bidding process.
i know Im randomly asking but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
Damn, she botched "fly" by saying "airlines." She could have said "Airplane, bird." Or she could have said "superpower, levitate." But when you say "plane, airlines," they get on the thought trail of airlines and airplanes and not actions that planes (and other things) have.
@@johnsmi213 I like coming on here and seeing peoples' suggestions and what they would have said. I just wish they would make this into a board game already (and maybe make a zoom edition too, just in case). I know my family would love playing this
@@deannad9105 I was just thinking that I wanted to play this for my birthday in October and wish they had an app like Heads Up or a board game. The only way to do it properly (rather than have someone make up words that probably would have flaws to them) is to have an outlier watch episodes I haven't seen and copy down the words and answers and then he'll be the host and we'll do our own game.
@@johnsmi213 I thought about watching all of the episodes on here and writing it all down. But I would remember the words and not be able to play then. There used to be a 25 Words or Less board game and I think that is what this show is based on. But they're not making it anymore and the used game is going for hundreds of dollars on eBay, now that this show is doing well. Let's hope that Lisa Kudrow just cannot live on that yearly $20,000,000 Friends residual check😜 and she decides to make this into an app or board game.
Sorvino looks guilty of not giving great clues. Elise Neal sucks at even being guilty of not giving great clues. Elise should learn atleast to show some guilt
Wow, Mira Sorvino is really bad. Lisa Kudrow can get her famous friends on the show as guests but that doesn't mean they're skilled at this game. Or any game. Or even really care enough to try.
Sometimes it takes the celebrity time to warm up and catch on to the game. A lot of them haven't even watched the show so they can prepare and then they panic. Then in the next episode the celebrity is in, they do better.
I just want to scream at the screen when I see such lousy playing. For crying out loud, start thinking about your clues while u r bidding, and don't stand there, not saying anything for 5 seconds at a time, and stop assuming that your teammates can read your bloody mind. Band = music group Fly = bird action They played pretty well -- almost well enough -- in the final $ round. Her clues for "Concentrate" were good. I didn't think of juice. The only slightly modified clue I could think of was "mental focus," but I don't know if that would do the trick.
I swear I saw Amy on "America Says" with even a stranger hair don't. LOL
I have to admit...CONCENTRATE was one of those words that screamed "yeah you ain't winning the money!" Her clues on that word was good too!

@@deannad9105 That would have helped but the word is "band." She made it so complicated by turning it into "the first half of bandwidth."

No mention of FRIENDS.
I wonder if Lisa asked Jamie to mention something else for a change.

Looks like Romy and Michelle dropped out of High school after the looks of this game

Concentrate = orange juice, not made from...
Even if she had stressed the word focus and slowed it down when she said it (as if she was concentrating), it would have helped
I would have said card match game.
Is Amy celebrating off camera at 14:43?
What about using Serling or Stewart to help them with Rod?
I would have said "JLo's fiance" and hoped they connected that back to the fishing guesses
Fishing Pole Serling?
jk
I would love to see Valerie Cherish play this game 😀

The word "meat," she just stares at it. Like either list meat (sausage, steak, etc.) or say "vegans don't eat..."

at least she admits it unlike elise oneal..
