I bought a 2016 CT a few years ago. At first I lamented the lack of acceleration, but after I actually drove the car in my daily rush hour commutes to and from my office, that feeling rapidly dissipated. Even in Eco mode I have zero issues keeping up with the flow of traffic and that is driving the car normally...I am far from a hypermiler. At the same time I'm getting a steady 43 mpg. This car took the place of a Nissan Z. I don't want to say replaced as you don't replace a 2 seater sports car with a vehicle equipped with a Prius drivetrain,) but I used to avoid using the Z for my daily commutes due to its manual transmission and I certainly wasn't going to be able to let it "exercise its legs" on the way to work. The CT has been a very pleasant addition...quality interior, very planted handling, nice styling and absolute reliability.
You all prolly dont care at all but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the account password. I would love any tips you can give me!
I'm typically not a huge fan of hatchbacks, always have bought sedans & will probably continue to do so for a very long time, currently own a 2016 GS350 F-Sport that I just bought a couple months ago, but I've always loved the styling of these cars, even more so than the UX. Lexus could've added a lot more power which would of made these cars much more desirable.
dang I really wish I knew this existed before I bought my used Prius V earlier this year. This is so much cooler looking. I would miss having the giant digital speedo, but this is a Lexus that actually looks cool to me. Most of them are just meh typical luxury car
@@LeLe-vo7md Looks nice enough on the outside, but I'm not a big fan of the subcompact crossover form factor. The interior also looks cramped for anyone who isn't built like a 10 year old. The main reason I wouldn't have gotten one though is the prices. Too expensive for a car. I already had a payment every month on a van I use for work so I was limited in how much more I could afford to take on safely. But more than that if I'm going to spend 30 grand on a vehicle, it is going to be on a truck. Trucks can actually work for you. Cars are just transportation and thus should be cheap. That's how I view them at any rate. Of course I've also had a truck since I was 15 so I exclusively drove that truck for half my life and only in the past few of years have gotten cars so maybe I'm biased from personal history.
If anyone is looking to purchase a aftermarket radio for this vehicle it is very limited on the options you may have, and it may need modification. Nobody sells a radio trim kit for this vehicle. I'm in the process of getting a aftermarket unit overseas with many previous owners who installed them and haven't had any issues.
It drives very well and has nimble handling, but honestly the weakest link is that 1.8L Hybrid drivetrain. Yes the MPG is good but 134hp is just not enough, especially the F sport variant. In a way, the Audi A3 Sportback e-tron was really what the CT200h should have been.
Really wish they would have given a little more horsepower somehow brought it up to 180-190 HP with a supercharger for the f sport model as there is one out there with a supercharger pushing over 300 horsepower the funny thing is the 300 horsepower version is getting 44mpg
How roomy is it compared to a 2009 is 250 for the driver and passenger? I love this car, but i dont think i could go smaller than what the IS 250 has to offer.
Great review. I understand the interface you describe More involvement with everything that’s available In participation of amazing Lol sorry thinking of the LC 500 review made me laugh Thank you
Hi! I have a question about the safety system. Why nobody I mean nobody talk about this. Is true Lexus CT200h F SPORTS have a free traffic and weather,Siri eye free , Pre-collision, radar cruise control, intuitive parking assistance.is all the safety system comes with car? I also looking for 2017 CT200H F SPORTS color is dark Gray or white color with low mileage. Do you seen or have. Please, please reply to my questions. Thank you
Is it a proper ecvt that holds rpm steady or does it have artificial shift points for people that don’t understand cvt? How much more rough does the f-sport suspension make the car versus not having it? I plan to sell my 29k mile RX-8 Shinka for one at some point. I wouldn’t floor this car much, I’ve gotten regularly 60+ mpg in an 05 civic hybrid cvt. I’d assume I’d get the same with this. I’ve done the high rpm stuff with the rotary, now I just want mpg and comfort. Don’t like the 14+ non foldable high display trend in newer cars; feels/looks cheap. I’ll probably go with a 11-13 model because of it.
It doesn't simulate gears if my memory is correct. So similar to a Prius. F sport didn't feel any different. Looks different however. Thanks for watching
This is what you get if you want to own a Prius but don’t want anyone to know you own a Prius.
Because a prius is like a fat chick. They are fun to ride but you don't want your friends to see you in them

I wish they would've put the 2.0 turbo engine and made a CT200t I feel like that would have sold very well
That would have cool. Even the 200hp hybrid system in the es300h would have been enough
Can't agree more
That was the main reason it never sell well
It had so much potential
It has the looks that's it's fast but doesn t perform
Right. 1.8 is not enough. Very sluggish...what a shame

@Finn Atticus Instablaster =)
Best commuter whip. They need to bring it back asap.
The UX is taking it's place! Although I don't think it will be quite as efficient...but you'll get more power and AWD as a result

What about the Lexus UX?

Accurately commented. I am owning one. Very good quality car

Nice video keep up the grind
Thanks Liam. I have some options today for reviews :)
I love my ct200h wish it's at least 160hp for adequate power

Nice car but 220 horses would make it so much more fun!
220 hp in this car would roast the front wheels hahaha...so yes much more fun in that regard.
LEXUriouS Kirk oh whoops I thought it was awd
@@KirkKreifels Type R handles 300hp just fine.
u can go for for a is or gs
I understand what he meant at the end. I agree. I really like this car.
Super car
Do you talk in Lexus fonts?

I can boldly say you’re a Lexus guy 😆.....
Just picked up a used one today after looking for a new car for a couple months. Coming from an old 07 Civic Si. Thanks for the review!
It's a great car! Congratulations
Your now going to be in eternal conflict between Honda and Lexus. GG. :D

I haven't seen any F Sport Ct's lately. They're out there but hard to find.
All UX have lexus safety system plus 2.0 standard.

luxury hybrid...im buying one wish it was AWD
where is your plant number?
You lost me at "The Bebes"
😂
Lexus auris, not prius!
nice car, but this f sport is such a poser trim. lol
Totally! It usually looks better though
Better of buying a fully loaded Prius or Prius V, this Lexus looks too small .
Has more rear seat head and leg room due to the flat roof. Better ergonomics all around
Hd mirror lol
I’d rather have a full electric and no sound than the awful CVT sound.
Nissan leaf or Tesla is your answer. 😉
stop smacking your lips inbetween sentences.
😂
mazda speed 3 with a lexus badge. real original,
um no
