I starter watching your videos like a week ago, and got really excited about the marshall home lineup and spent so long trying to figure out if the ads were real, since I never found a video of someone trying it out, and got suspicious. Appreciate the video and the time saving.
I bought an Acton III because of your videos and I’m so grateful that your channel introduced me to it (it’s awesome) and I would love to be able to pair with some others.
I'm so missing the possibility to get stereo from 2 paired Marshall speakers. I got two Emberton II and use them in stack mode. But stack mode isn't stereo, as you pointed out very clearly in this video. Thanks for bringing this to the surface.
Very well researched and presented. I too had tried to figure out whether they did or did not give you the option of a multi room set up, and it was very misleading. Thank you for getting to the bottom of what is at best poor technological development, and at worst a bit of a con.
Great Video Danny - any new news in this department that you have heard ?- I cant believe that Marshal are not all over this, to get it sorted. I had Sonos and switched out for Marshall years ago. Then early 2024 my 2x Woburn 2 speakers - worked lovey together - beautiful visual too. A Dog Chewed one of them - could not live with the look. Ordered 2 x Woburn 3 speakers that are now sitting in the same place not talking to each other. Stacking option not available ???? Bonkers - one would think that a speaker next generation would have at least all the features of the previous. I’m a big Marshall fan - have loads of their range - but this has put a mega bad taste to the relationship. Customer service are a vague as can be too on this matter. Marshall have dropped the ball big time.
Thanks for the video! I was wondering about this feature and why they never delivered on it. While not a deal breaker, it would be nice. I purchased the Acton III after watching many reviews, yours included. I am extremely happy with it. But, c'mon Marshall or Zzounds, or who ever actually makes these, get with it. I'd buy another one if I could pair them. Thanks again for the videos, Danny. I appreciate your approach to BT audio reviews for people who aren't, or can't afford to be, audiophiles.
Just bought a Middleton and I love it, but yeah, true wireless stereo pairing would be amazing on every single Marshall device. It's the one thing they're really missing, stack mode is a compromise.
4:30 samsung included Auracast in its s24 devices and recently s23, however I think that the multi-extreme Marshall function can include it without dependence on devices like the s24 or s23, I feel that Marshall has no interest in updating the system I understand that JBL already has the auracast coupling in its last speakers
I watched video, read comments and got even more questions. 1. We can connect Willen, Emberton 2 & Middleton in stack mode. Ok. 2. We can pair Action 2 with Action 2. But we can't connect Action 2 to any other device, right? 3. Can we connect Stockwell 2 with Stockwell 2 using the Multi-Host functionality? 4. And what about Streaming with Spotify. Official Marshall "How to - Acton Multi-Room - Wi-Fi® Streaming with Spotify" says that we can connect many devices at the same time. Is it true?
@@DannyPopsmeh a year almost later … guess it’s a hard pass then. Building an apartment and I was counting to buy 2-3 of Stanmore 3 speaker and pair them together so I could avoid cabling. Guess i gotta find something else , problem is I dunno what 😂😂😂
Marshall app can destroy your speaker. It happened to me. my woburn II was perfectly working but when I try to update the firmware it made my speaker unusable and marshall wont take responsibility.
I have the action II and just bought the emberton II in hopes to stack them with my PC but have the emberton II to take away for portability. Are you saying they will not stack?
My Emberton won't connect to the app. Apparently android 14 & Qualcomm can't use Bluetooth Le And classic at the same time. The speakers use ine type of Bluetooth and the app uses another one. That's all kind of fucked up. Hopefully they fix it in android 15, but nothing has been said about it.
Well at least provide a service center here in the Philippines. Yes the sound is great and the cost is too high that doesn't match with the after sales issues. That's why I'm not buying Marshall brands anymore.
apparently the Marshall app is fully open sourced so maybe somebody can help the gang out by submitting a pull request and implementing it themselves 😂

yeah it's terrible when they just go silent and you have no way of knowing what happened.

Exactly the information I was looking for, and even customer support couldn't give me that, thank you!
Thanks for all the leg work and the update. Well said, Danny. 🤘 Listen up, Marshall.
Bought an Acton III one year ago because of your videos. I can only highly recommend this little speaker, unbelieveable how great it sounds!
can be paired with another Actor 3 and has stereo sound?
I’m still confused as to why my emberton and willen stack, but I can’t stack my acton 3? Is it a software thing that needs to be updated?

why acton ii can stereo pair each other but acton iii cannot?

So I guess these Marshall speakers are ahead of its time based on technology that isn't available yet.
I agree they need to stereo pair ASAP
Danny could I use a hdmi to 3.5 or rca with a splitter to hook my tv up to two woburn 3s or even an hdmi splitter.
its almost as if these companies do the marketing first and think about if they misleading people..erm..well never.. 😭😭
Thanks very much for the information. I gave up buying 2 Marshall stanmore models. You save my money 🙏🏻
Is buying homeline 3 good or waiting for 2027 for new homeline

thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts. I agree they need to step it up - that or it's a lot harder than we imagine to fix.
Have any updates been made? I have 2 acton 3 speakers, as gifts and it sucks i can’t link them to each other.

I am. Confused that which should I buy stanmore or kilburn
Just received my willen 2. Won’t stack with my willen. I press Bluetooth button 3 times but no indicator light turns on.
Are you still having same issue ?
Even using 2 units of willen II ?
Got the stanmore 3. It’s kind of a bummer….
im thinking to sold my stanmore iii and going for sonos line up
Yeah I understand. No one was willing to step up and say anything so I had to pull the information from many sources
@@DannyPops man, love for what u do :)

thanks a lot for this video. I was about to buy 2 acton III to use them in stereo....well forget it! :-D Very useful video, thanks again.
I agree i got acton III its amazing quality sounding speaker but love if it could pair with my partybox 100 JBL....
Can you stereo pair Marshall Woburn II Speakers?

acton ii can pair. if u have two units of it.
hey bro can we connect 2 tufton speakers together??
@@k.sandeepkumar7572 no you cant
What about dual Audio on phones? You could pair 2.
@@samuelcrosby7675 you can't do stereo with dual BT connections. It'll just prioritize one speaker over the other.

You got it Danny ! Good job !
What is your favorite Bluetooth speaker for under $400?
@slistone1940 for 379ish the stanmore III is awesome. For a portable loud speaker good for low volume I love the x600 at around 170ish.
I have 2 Acton 2 speakers and I have successfully been able to pair them through the App
How you did it?
Yes bro marshall sound great 😊maybe they are lack on pairing with other device thankyou bro ❤
Try implement nearlink instead of the slow and outdated bluetooth
