This deserves a wow - great views and very well captured. If I was coming to Edinburgh for the first time, this would be high on my list, it'd be magical to get your first views of the whole city from up there.
Thank you so much Roger ! , you must be the first local UA-camr to film inside the W hotel since it opened in mid November and the stylish interior i have seen in pictures really does compliment the incredible 360 degree views of the city !. Those that complain about it being a blot on the landscape always forget the hideous , brutalist and bland concrete building that was there before. Some people don't like change but i'm sure most of them will get use to it over time , even the Scott Monument had a controversial design back in the 1840's !. The 'walnut whip' is such a fun shape and i really like the sun reflecting off the ribbon cladding , good to know the prices are not too excessive , although last time i checked a suite cost 10K for Hogmanay ! , it would be interesting to try out the Sushisamba restaurant on the top floor which is a mix of Japanese , Brazilian & Peruvian cuisine , i guess it will be a special occasion 'destination' place with prices to match !.
I like it. I prefer that to yet another blend in run of the mill hotel. The lounge looks absolutely brilliant with the panoramic views. Another great vlog. 👍

It’s pronounced Caulton hill, because of mass media and movement of people the pronunciation is changing the “a” pronunciation to “ay”. Probably Glasgow having a Calton district with their pronunciation “ay” doesn’t help.

Thanks Aidan! I’m not certain, but I think Sushisamba is the main restaurant and will be where residents have breakfast as well. 🥓🍳
