Hot Space is grossly underrated. It's actually a pretty good album. Sure, it's not really classic Queen, but the songs on it are still amazing.

I also bought this box set last time they re-released it. I wanted it from the beginning, but I did not have the money for it back then. So I am happy they released it again. It is a really beautiful box set, and as a hardcore Queen fan, I am happy to own every studio record on vinyl record (I only had about half of them before on vinyl record, and all of them on CD). The only complaint I have is that they did not include their live records. That would have been even better! Maybe they release a live box set in the future. That would be really nice! And one more thing... the name of the robot on News Of The World is Frank!

and I have never looked back.I have seen the Bohemian Rhapsody movie two dozen times at least. Just love, love, love this band.
Yes, this box set is one of the pearls of the entire vinyl industry. Not surprised it runs out and gets rereleased. Your knowledge is astounding in your review.
The book alone is a marvelous addition to a library and the coloured vinyl... WOW !! Quite a thing of beauty done with the care they deserve.

Not as excessively priced as other career spanning sets but I totally get what you mean. The book is what makes it worth it, it’s that well put together.

Probably the best presentation I've seen for the Queen box set. Everything that was needed to be said was said in a clear, articulate manner.

Hello Dylan ! What a massive box ! I almost want to get that. But since I already have (almost) all Queen albums , the high price puts me off. It’s even more expensive here. Although the packaging , book , posters , box and remade covers tempts me HEAVILY , I must admit. Great video , as usual. Stay safe , play loud and have a cold one , bro.

I have been waiting for this! I never realized how good it feels to be the enabler haha! I recently just bought the Flash Gordon movie from Barnes & Noble! Since I'm going through and trying to rank their discography I thought that having watched the Flash Gordon movie might give me more insight into the soundtrack. I'm one of the weirdos that likes Hot Space hah! Definitely not my favorite but it has some awesome jams on there! Awesome review Dylan!

Vinyl is naturally clear in color. I have a RSD release of a Chicago album and its on clear vinyl. The source audio is bootleg but clear vinyl sounds the best.

I was gonna say that booklet it killer until you started to show the vinyl and my mouth flew open! Beautiful stuff! Loved the silver ripples in that copy of "The Game". Made in Heaven is the one Queen record I don't have and I haven't streamed it yet so I'm glad you put that little bit about the locked groove in there, bc I would've had no clue!! Also loved how you geeked out at the end!! I can get pretty lazy researching some of the more technical production stuff so I'm glad you did the work so we don't have to!! Haha! Take care Dylan! Hey Spinner Gday... glad I subscribed you definitely put on a good show. Just so happens that Queen Is My ultimate band. I've been a fan since day one. I was 15 years old when I bought the debut album, I have most of their albums from the early part of their career. Every year I would buy their latest LP up to 1980. Kept them in pristine condition all these years. I surprised myself that I never looked into reissues or box set until you came up with this video so I may consider it thanks it's good to know that there's other fans out there. Rock on brother man

A lot of people have negative comments on the 2015 Bob Ludwig remasters cut by Miles Showell. While I didn’t buy the box I bought them all (again!) individually. The albums from The Game on sound far better. Queen, and especially Queen II is stunning. They are boomy and you have to roll off bass and crank them up. I have the News of The World box too with the AAA pressing.

That Bicycle race poster was out of print for a long time. Very early album pressings had it. Before EMI got cold feet over it.
I own that vinyl of my late uncle Since his passing.

96k/24bit is very close to analog tape, you'd be hard pressed (no pun intended) to hear a difference! The "redbook " 44.1k/16bit is much easier to hear the difference!

Regarding the plastic album covers.....I believe some plastics (PVC, cellophane?) can damage record covers and even seep through the paper and 'cloud' the vinyl over time. This is why record dealers will nearly always use polythene covers. So it may be a good idea to remove them completely ?
I think it depends on climate. If it’s constantly changing between hot and cold, then it’s best to come up with an alternate option
