As a Chinese, I know the difficulty of Chinese, just as I learn English. And I really wanna make a friend who wants to learn Chinese and whose mother tongue is English, and then we can practice together and make progress together. Learning together can be more motivating. Languages are amazing, but learning them is crazy!!!

This is the best way to do a video!! I love how you have the Pinyin as well as the English translation. Sometimes we cannot watch our phones. We like to listen while we drive or work and if you don’t provide an English translation then we have no idea what you’re talking about. You got it right!! Great job! I love this channel.

Thank you very much for this lesson. I really like the style and method for learning new words, as I have seen in several of your lessons. (Although, as one person said for another lesson, less time should be spent on words considered familiar to intermediate students - since this lesson is intended for them).
I would like to mention that this story is originally a Fable by La Fontaine, a famous 17th century French writer.
I am surprised that this story, converted into Chinese, does not include the 2 "morals" of this fable:
1: We often need someone smaller than ourselves
2: Patience and length of time are more than strength or rage.
These morals are, moreover, the essential value of all of La Fontaine's fables.

I recommend working on your English pronunciation of “lion" and "line". Try to distinguish between them. "Lion" has two syllables. "Line" has one syllable. However, I absolutely love your lessons. 的， in this sentence, I feel, is to emphasize. for example, if I want to say, "I will certainly go", I can say, "我一定会去。“ but I can also say. "我一定会去的。“ The sentence with de 的 sounds more certain. 谢谢你， thank you

I have a very basic question about languages spoken in China. What exactly is mandarin? Is it name of language? If so, then what is Chinese language? Here in India Hindi is spoken in north india. In South India tamil, telugu,malyali, kandad and kokani are spoken. Then their are Gujarati, Marathi,Bengoli,sindhi,Panjabi etc. But there is no such thing called India language. So my question is what exactly is Chinese language? This is not racist question.
