I'm looking forward to your Kickstarter unboxing. I discovered from the book that I missed the WFG Promo 2 pack, and it isn't even available at their website at the moment. Oh well. I doubt I'll go for Pacific, because I had serious health issues this year with my G.I. tract that hopefully won't resurface next year. If it does, or if my age gets in the way, I don't want to be tied to any more Kickstarter campaigns. I have plenty of D-Day Dice 2nd edition to occupy my time. I'm seriously tempted to purchase the 1st Edition from the secondary market just for fun, because I see complete sets on offer several times. I know I can play the maps from the Legacy book, but I do envy those speckled dice.
I do an unboxing of those promo packs and don't worry mate, you're not missing out. I'm not going to play with them since I like to keep it as historical as possible. I got them to support WFG. DDD is so big now that many retailers will buy copies, so you should just buy it when it goes to retail so you don't have to risk it. I personally stopped using Kickstarter with some very few exceptions, DDD being one of those. Man same here, I am a completionist and would love the first Ed with all expansions.. Those speckled dice are cool and make the game feel more adult and serious. I hope your health issues improve my friend, as you know I'm in the same boat with Cystic Fibrosis. Cheers!

If the Pacific goes well, speckled dice might make a comeback 🙂

@@AmiralA You mean the metal dice ?
@@davidg.1387 Speckled. Like the ones we gave during 1st Edition, but with slightly different colors.
@@AmiralA I have to check these. I hope the metal ones will be available too. They are indeed perfect for the leutenant.
