It's not called a Heap in Oz for no reason. For the budget market there are only 3 brands, stepping up there is the Cruiser, then one more step there is only one product - The Landy
I own an H2, H3 and a CJ5. Love them all. Have also owned Wranglers and Suzuki Samurai’s. Loved them all. But to the guy who said the H2 is the biggest POS GM made…..My H2 is at 270,000 miles. Only issue a driver side window motor had to be replaced at 240,000 miles and that only because I open close it obsessively to spit. The H2 has been a beast. Not as tough as Army Hummer I drove when I served but a whole lot more reliable. Now as for off-roading capability on all the 4x4’s I’ve owned, Suzuki Samurai wins hands down! All vehicles at stock wo serious off-road modifications my lowly Samurai beat my CJ5 and Wranglers in all conditions any day of the year. The only vehicle I have driven equal (but not owned) equal to a Samurai would be a CJ3.

I absolutely love my H3, but in reality the H3 needs to be compared to the wrangler not the Cherokee
