Rhonda Dracoulis Founder and Primary Instructor
RK3 Designs started as a way for Rhonda to showcase her creativity but has blossomed into a way to help others find theirs. Her obsession with painting led her to start refinishing furniture and kitchen cabinets. She found customers wanted a nicer option than laminate but more affordable and customizable than natural stone, which lead her to countertop epoxy! Since then, she’s helped thousands of students, from across the country (and even Canada eh?).

rk3designs.com || What color glitters would you have chosen?
Love all the colors together won't change any color except add a touch of forest green..By the way can you regular paint can spray with the hammer paint?
9:50.... I hate that you have to literally give a disclaimer for absolutely anything these days.... People don't have any common sense and they want everybody to take care of them like Mommy and Daddy. Ridiculous. Neat tutorial. I want to pick up some chameleon pigments to try
I just looked at your website and all of the glitters are beautiful but I think my two favorites are the turquoise and the purple.
Beautiful. What type of spray paint are you using. Love from Greece.
Super
I like that you gave credit and promoted your former student while learning from him and sharing this example.
Gorgeous! So sorry for your loss
The colors The looks The designs one can do with epoxy is limitless!!!!!......love it!!!!!!!!!
I fell in love with it when you added the spray paints and then blended them together somewhat. The bling could only make it better. But i was really looking forward to you coming back the next morning and seeing how much it had all moved and you finishing it up. I kinda feel like i was left without the finale. I just love everything I’ve watched you do so far but that would be my only suggestion for all your videos. Please let us see them as they would be when going to the customers home with it. Thanks so much for the ideas and the way my heart really wants to try it out. 👍🏼🤍
Great feedback!!! I really appreciate it. Most of my latest videos the final flyover shots are after the piece has set overnight. Thanks for watching!!! 😊😊
Yeah, me too! I felt left hanging!!!
Love this one! Thank you (and Alan!). My deepest condolences about your dad; I lost my dad in April and I'm still struggling.

Love love love this style
Awesome!!! It’s one of my favorites. Thanks for watching!! ❤️
This is stunning!!!
The piece is Fabulous !! .... My prayers and condolence to you and your family. God bless you
Thank you so much. ❤️
This was beautiful, like a natural rock formation with opal/gems coming through. Good teaching.
The interaction of the spray paints with the epoxy really made such a positive impact. Then when you strategically applied the sparkly epoxy mixture, it was like looking at some very expensive striated granite. Very impressive.
Thank you!!! It’s a really fun technique to do!!! Thanks for watching!! 😊
Love love love this creation. I feel inspired to try this in my drab bathroom. It’s going to be my 62 birthday on Tuesday and the family will be celebrating as I missed my 60th due to CoVid. I’d really love for you all to send me Bday wishes as my dear friend has passed, and I feel so low with life at the moment. I’m Sending you all kind wishes and Love&Light xxx Caro
Carol, I hope you have a fabulous birthday and I’m so very sorry for the loss of your friend!!!! Email me please at Rhonda@rk3designs.com. I would love to send you a RK3 Designs t shirt ❤️❤️
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this!!! 👌👏👏🥰
❤️❤️❤️. Thank you!!
I love this beautiful pour. All my favorite colors. I'm going to be using this on my kitchen counters..love, love, love this
Thank you!!! ❤️
Sorry, total newbie here. These are used as countertops first of all they would be absolutely drop-dead gorgeous, but my question is can you you have to treat these countertops with kid gloves wouldn't do? Wouldn't they scratch easily if you like say put can goods on the counter and whatnot and over time it would get a dull look to it right?
Beautiful! 😍
You had me at Hammered!
I'm not much on glitter that we see in so many projects on UA-cam. When you first brought out the glitter I was thinking "Oh no, another glitter bomb project" but the way it turned out is really cool. Little windows of sparkles, just enough to catch the eye and make you wonder about it.
Thank you!! I totally agree. Too much glitter can backfire very quickly!!! Thanks for the feedback and watching. I really appreciate it! 😊😊
beautiful. the bling looks like opal tucked in there
I love this. This is one of my favorite techniques so far. 😍
Me too ❤️❤️❤️

You’re amazing. Thank you.
Love it!!
Thanks 😊
j'adore , magnifique
This is my 2nd video and I would love to have the close be the actual finished product. I thought the first video was a fluke but I guess you end them this way. This definitely inspired me to give this a try. Thank you. Beautiful.
This was my first video on this channel and I really wanted to see the finished product. I was surprised I didn’t get to see it! I would’ve loved it if I could’ve seen it held upright. I was just sad I couldn’t see the whole thing because the colors were so beautiful🙁
Finished product is stunning! I would definitely use turquoise glitter and maybe a gold glitter and definitely definitely the bronze mica flakes.. WOW!
Thank you!!! ❤️
Great tip about the edges!!
Thanks, glad you liked it. Appreciate you watching! 😊😊
Thank you!! 1st time I heard about clean up.!!
Absolute beauty!
❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful!
Thank you!! 😊
As usual.... an amazing finish!!!!
😘😘
My favorite part as the disclaimer about adults deciding whether they’re gonna wear protective mask for themselves or not LOL
@@steveellis8746 it's a good thing you are a grown up and made your own choice with your own body to not watch a video using chemicals that dont effect you at all.
@@steveellis8746 vinyl or natrile gloves not latex is what resin artists use. Good grief .🤦🏼♀️ I don’t know about stone coat , but art resin is a totally non toxic epoxy resin. That doesn’t require masks either. Based on what Rhonda says here it sounds similar to Art Resin with its no vocs .
@@steveellis8746 Is that it? Those who can't refute resort to ageism.
An awesome technique! Looks great!
Thanks my friend!! ❤️❤️
Love this piece.

Awesome. Thank you!
I was just wondering how to do those striations! Love the chunky glitter!
Very nice - Im going to use this technique on my tops & decorative epoxy floors!
I know you say that we're adults and should know this already, but there are a lot of adults who've never worked with epoxy or spraypaint and have never considered that that SHOULD be something they do. I remember watching my dad spraypaint a lot of things as a kid.... and let ME spraypaint things too, and no one ever said anything about PPE.
So, I know it feels repetitive, but it think it's good to remind folks about that basic safety precaution
100% Agree and I do try to remember to tell everyone that the epoxy I use is very safe. I really do need to do that more. Thanks for the reminder ❤️❤️ and THANKS for watching!!
What a beautiful design I often thought about spray paint and epoxy but wasn’t sure, now I will definitely try it. Thank you.
Awesome. Have fun!
