    Your method: toothbrush + the rough side of the sponge - game changer! I did my bathroom a year ago, using a paint brush and various tools to scrape it off. It took SO long, I quit before I finished the adjoining closet. Today I redid the bathroom AND closet and not only was it so much faster, easier, it looks so much better. THANK YOU!

      Oh I’m so glad this helped someone. I hesitated uploading this video.

      BTW, the reason I redid the bathroom section is because when I did it last time, the method I used to remove the excess from the tile pulled some off from the grout. It was very uneven. When I saw how well this method worked in the closet, I decided to redo the bathroom. It looks amazing. It is a lower traffic area and I'm sure I'll need to touch up over time. But in general, I agree - this product is totally worth it!@@MichaelSavesPlus

      @sueflynn6438 so do you rub the rough sponge only over the tile, and do your best to not touch the grout? Or do you rub it evenly over the grout knowing the tile is higher and will only remove it from the tile?

      @@mygt8a4re Hi, I did it only over the tile not over the grout (but not precisely - if I went over, it didn't cause an issue, I just tried not to). Still looking good 3 months later :)

    Do you know if this would stick to epoxy grout as well ?

    I have small, glossy tiles on my shower walls. Do you recommend this same late-wash method? Also, I don’t have a steamer for pre-cleaning, should I just use bleach or something similar?

    • @MichaelSaves
      @MichaelSaves 8 місяців тому +1

      Good question. If I had small tiles, I might start with the early wash method. Hard to say. You can use bleach or any cleaner to clean the grout beforehand.

    How many bottles of Grout Refresh did you use in the 1/2 area that you did in this video? I have 2 smaller bathrooms to do and want to know how many bottles to buy to complete the 2 bathrooms…

    • @MichaelSavesPlus
      @MichaelSavesPlus  7 місяців тому +1

      Way less than one bottle! I saved the bottle to use elsewhere. It goes a long way.

    Very timely as I have been staring at my Grout for a number of years and wondering what I can do with it. I'll get a bottle and try it on a section and see how it goes.

      There is a competing product sold at Home Depot called Grout Renew. Similar. Good luck.

    What color did you use for the grout? Not in the room but in the doorway ( previous video)

    I installed a new backsplash and my black grout turned out looking white and i cant get the haze off. Would you recommend this? Does it dry natural or does it look shiny and almost like wet paint?

    • @MichaelSavesPlus
      @MichaelSavesPlus  6 місяців тому +1

      I feel it dries naturally. I don't see any shine on my floor.
